- In this episode of The Full Scale Fishing Adventures, Lubin is walking the banks of the South Para reservoir in search of Murray cod. Casting the new Zman Herculez swimbait he catches a beautiful Murray cod while sharing plenty of tips and techniques
Interesting video as was in Darwin recently holidaying and checked out a fishing shop and sore a herculez and thought they looked ok so purchased one.Yet to try it out so happy to see my idea of a good swim bait to try has been enhanced by your video.

If you like South Para, you’ll love Aroona Dam mate! We stocked it back in 2019 and it’s definitely the best impoundment in the state. Worth the trip when you have the time 👌🏼🎣
I’ve been planning to head up there just haven’t got around to it yet unfortunately!

It’s nice and clear but water level is starting to get very low, compared to a few months back👍
I've been to south para resivour once with my grand Dad. using scrub worms as we sat there for about an hour and decided to leave as nothing was biting. But I'm heading back down to Adelaide to stay with my grandparents on Wednesday for a couple of weeks and I really want to try South para resivour again since it's close because I'm in tea tree gully. But I want to catch some natives in there weather it be yellow belly or Murray cod or even silver perch I don't care just something what am I best Targeting and what lures do you use already got two baitcast combos loaded up with 15 and 20 pound braid. Very long message but I would love it if you replied thanks!

It’s exciting to see SA putting some effort into their inland fisheries. Just another great reason to get over there and have a look around.

South Para is on the edge of the Barossa so yes reds and yellows and greens available. Unfortunately successive SA governments have ignored SA rec fishing, but at least the now kicked out Marshall Gov opened some ressies whilst they were in. Happy Valley Res is a gold mine for cod right now, and again, 20 minutes to wineries ;)
Great clip Lubin, lovely little lake. What's all the old structure? is it an old open cut or something? Rockland will be premium clear water cod fishing in the near future, not far from SA either... cheers darky...

Hi Lubin great vid mate, I have caught beautiful Silver's in there and a nice golden.Havent cracked a cod yet unfortunately.I use an Okuma competition 6/6 baitcasting rod great budget stick.The Silver's are real tanks and the way to go has been downsizing to TT Colorado jig spin with Z man 2 or 3 inch grub in motoroil.

How good that fisheries are paying attention, massive props to you mate I have done 10+ hours on a river but 2 hours on impoundments is way more trying lol
