Try changing the protein in his food If it's beef try chicken. I had a dog like lefty white pit bull type dog I ended up doing a rast scan . Basicly a compleat blood scan. He was allergic to all protein sources except fish. Fyi he also was alergic to grass. So i put hin on a restricted diet and gave him fresh yams cooked in water ( don't microwave them ) it kills all the nutrients . Yams have natural prednisone in them too. about a 1/2 a cup a day. All licking stopped ! He probably has alergies

David, I had our house painted last June, the way I found a reliable house painter was by asking a friend who works for PPG paints. Ask your buddies from the dealership about a house painter and a roofer at the same time, use those wonderful networking skills i know you have, get 3 estimates and make your decision. Good luck to you.
I know you are relieved to be seeing a doctor you know. When I had my gallbladder removed , I had no stones. I didn’t know that could be. Digestion can be tricky. Sometimes you don’t even have to take a “digestion pill” every single day and you can still manage. Best thing to do is listen to your doctor. That’s where your confidence is. Lab results provide a lot of info, and yours are good. Everyone is doing well so enjoy this visit.
So glad you and Lefty made it home safely. I'm 70 and can tell you health problems creep up and a lot of the time they are like storm clouds, here and gone. My joke with my Doctor lately is what is going to kill me first, my cancer or my heart. This is just life. Take care of you both!
Yea, My mom's house is right on the creek. The geese invade the back yard every year. At least the poop doesn't stink and it breaks down in to soil fast, like a week.

Check at a local small hardware store about a painter. Maybe you can just have them do the tall walls and teach Daylin how to paint. She will get a lot of pride doing it herself. I find the ticks are worse in areas with tall grass. Seems like they aren’t as bad once the grass is cut and kept low.

You know I am antivaccine after a certain age for dogs ,Do you or Dailyn still get vaccines from your childhood every year or do you have immunity. built up ! There is absolutely no reason to vaccinate every year .The fact that he is having reactions is a huge waring to stop vaccinating You are risking anaphylactic shock.I have seen dogs die from it..
Absolutely 100% agree!!!! I have a jack russell kennel. I give my own puppy vacs for my litters at 8, 12, 16 weeks. Go to the vet clinics at tractor supply for low cost rabies. Worm once a month and as needed for worm poop with equine safeguard paste. Topical flea rx only for dogs that need it. Have dogs that room together and one will have fleas and the other one won't. The only time I go to a vet is when a dog needs blood work or xray. Do lots of natural supplements brewers yeast and vit c. Milk thistle for liver problems. Most of my dogs live 15+ years. We travel extensively to dog shows. Human kids do need vacation. BTW I made it thru covid with no vaccine and never got sick. Practiced good hand and respiratory hygiene. Only went out for groceries twice a month always to the same store and then straight home.
Leptospirosis is a real thing and can kill dogs. He and Lefty go out in grass areas, plus they travel around. Lefty eats the grass that wildlife are in, so he needs to keep his dog safe and vaccinated.
I’ve had one of those CT scans with the IV stuff that gives you that weird sensation! (got diverticulitis, in my case…) just before my big RV trip this February! I didn’t have to do the liquid stuff though……..It’s hell gettin old!😅
Lefty is such a handsome young man. I used to have trouble with my stomach and pains and I've been taking Prilosec for years my first drink of water and or coffee in the morning is with a Prilosec. ❤😊
Hi David and Lefty, You neve know what is in those jabs. 😊I had to have my place repainted once because the guy did not know what he was doing and did an awful job. Prilosec is not good to take long term.
Regarding painting. 1. To find a good, reasonable pro, ask around some paint stores, and I don't mean the paint aisle at Home Depot, even if the most premium of their Behr paints are fine. Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore stores and paints, that's about it for me, no huge preference between them. Show up around store opening/closing times for a few days at a couple of really good paint stores, and see which painters show up to grab stuff needed for the coming day's work. You can judge the painters in person, as to whether you'd want their crew to do a job for your daughter. Is their van looking like a disaster, are their ladders a disaster, are their tarps new, fine, iffy, or belong in a dumpster? Are they smoking? Hung over? Lowlife or professional? Might not pass a CORI check? Does the store put their purchases on a commercial account or do they pay up for a handful of roller covers and a gallon of paint? 2. To DIY it, get a rolling scaffold. In 1986 I rented one and eventually bought it from the rental company. Now you can buy them at Harbor Freight. 3. Get one Paint Stick, and plan to get one per person plus one spare, after you see how well and fast you can paint with it. Not cheap for the real ones, maybe knockoffs are OK nowadays. In any case, they are a huge timesaver. I built a 3200sf contemporary with high ceilings, all walls and ceilings professionally skim-coated with plaster. Then my wife, her sister, and I painted the whole interior (with Paint Sticks) and stained the whole exterior (with brushes), no pros used at all. Paint Sticks were much faster and much cleaner to use than regular rollers. They were also better than an expensive pump-fed roller. Just wash out the rollers and Paint Stick every day, to keep their O rings working well. With a Paint Stick, you don't use a paint tray, you draw paint straight from the can into the stick. 4. Don't cheap out on the rollers, or the tape, or brushes. On the old scale of good better best, buy the best. 5. Don't cheap out on the paint. Great paint is not cheap. It pays for itself by not needing to be repainted for much longer, plus of course it looks better. 6. Get the exact specs of whatever colors you choose. Colors might get renamed, but all the magic numbers used in the paint color mixer do not. Save those paint color numbers in 100 places, so you don't need to bring in color samples to match, ever, unless you're trying to match something which faded/whatever. 7. Harbor Freight also sells nice canvas painter's tarps. It's OK to use plastic, but it is either thin/lousy, or thick/slippery, and you'll use a lot of tape keeping it in place.
Hi David. I am in the process of watching this video. I think I can answer a few of your questions. 1. Best way to rid Lefty of ticks is to use a undercoat comb. The teeth are very close together, and will grab even the smallest tick. I have tried numerous all natural tick sprays, and nothing really works. The other thing to do is try to keep him out of tall grass. ( i know, that's his favorite salad bar., Squirty's too. ). I will not use anything that is chemically based. Also, when it comes to inoculations, My Vet runs Titers to see how well my dog, Squirty is ptotected You might want to talk to the Vet about checking his Titers, as long as they are good, you don't have to give him the shots. Also, everywhere I went, and camped with Squirt, they accepted her papers from the Vet showing that she is covered.. .,Squirty has had Mast Cell Cancer, so my Vet is not keen on given her any inoculations. I also have been treated for Piriformis syndrome. Therapy has helped a lot,. P.S. I love my Merrills.
Hopefully you and Lefty, and lest I forget, the rig don't have any serious issues. I left Coconino on Saturday. Was starting to get a little too "active" for my liking. Up in Kaibab now. Much more pleasant. Take care.
Darn right we want to see her. My Grandkids are home from college so much fun seeing them. CT scan--yep had a bunch of them. Weird feeling. Get a load of this. A PET scan they use radioactive material as the contrast. What? Huh? Really? I want to know the first person who said sure inject that in me and we will try it. Glad you are getting checked out. Remind your Doctors that this happened in Arizona and where you were. There could be something that happens in that geographic location that they never see where you are. Just a thought. Glad the medicine helped you.
For a phone my friend went to the lost luggage at the airport in NY and got a used cell phone fir cheep. I guess they sell the stuff that doesn't get claimed.
Dogs are being over vaccinated it’s so sad that states require them so often. I had a Bulldog that had an anaphylactic reaction from a vaccination and my vet said we would just do titers yearly to make sure she had titer levels that would cover her. She went 10 years with titers in good levels. It shows you they do not need yearly vaccines.
Did you want your mechanic friend to do a roof raise for you Dave? That way you can stand up comfortably inside your rig. A forklift can be used to lift the roof.
David, I just picked up the Google Pixel 6a from Straight Talk for 200 bucks. It's got a great camera and takes care of all the other business. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for sharing. You need some R & R you need a break. Prilosec is making you feel better, just take it every day and Enjoy. You and Lefty speaking is such fun. ❤
Lefty can probably get away with just the Rabies every three years, now he’s older. That’s what I did. My dog just started acting different after those vaccinations.
Being anxious and stressed out a lot is the reason I take Prilosec. It can cause acid reflux One pill a day. It has made a big difference! Prayers are always with you Dave.
You can get something called a titer test that shows how immune your dog is to things you vacinate for....i'm not an anti vaxer but we definitely over vacinate our dogs....i usually stop all vaccinations by 9 or 10...except for rabies since its required by law.
Benefryl does the same. Please consider looking up Veterinary Secrets vet and Dr Karen Becker. Very well known vets are coming out again at all these vaccines. Just want the best for you & Lefty.
I'm glad the meds helped your stomach, but please do not stay on it for a long time. It is definitely a carcinogen, as well as other side effects. Diet change and plenty of WATER is far safer. Make sure you filter water too..
I had Acid Reflux, did not know it. It gave me a bad sensation just like you described. Turns out I have a wheal allergy, rather mild, not too bad. I cut way back on pasta and such. Now I take a generic Prilosec once every 6 weeks or so. No more issues. Don’t eat before you go to bed. Sleep with your head higher than your feet, it helps a lot. Best wishes to you.
Try Yoga - start to learn correct postures - try fasting for 36 hours which is after dinner then one day - continue on destinations like Beet Harvest & Quartzsite. Working for me and my core & sleep.
I would suggest avoiding refurbished phones. Had a bad experience, I purchased a new old Google Pixel phone and it has been working great. Old cell phone models are still made for us cheap old folks. Just a thought.
I'm so anti jab now I don't even get my animal jabbed. The fact that they feel like crap after is clear evidence something is wrong. It's just a money grab.
Unfortunately when we get older we can’t eat the same as we did when we were younger. I’ve already been through what you’re going through and basically the junk food needs to be cut back and spicy foods. Less greasy foods. 😢 it’s worth it to feel good. Lefty is looking great as usual.
Try some fatty food and see if you have the reaction to it. That might tell if it’s your gallbladder. You might have calmed it down before you came home. You can give a dog Benadryl if he is having any any allergic reaction.
My Chihuahua is on apoquel and still gets flare-ups. She then has to get a cytopoint injection to calm her allergic reaction. Living in Florida most dogs are allergic to something down here.
Apaquel is wonderful for dog allergies my GSD has food allergies and requires daily dose of it. Also it comes in a chewable form now! Glad you are getting some relief from your abdominal issues! Enjoy your summer
Oh, man! This long video has sure elicited its share of folks' opinions & advice. LOL I don't have any advice for you, kiddo, but I can certainly empathize with the bad guts. I have GERD, too, and rely on OTC Nexium (which is a proton pump inhibitor like Prilosec). Without it even water makes me hurt. I'm glad the meds seem to be helping you.
We have MeTV here, which is a national chain. They show old western TV shows all afternoon Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Rifleman, and Wagon Train. Even more on weekends. Old people tv, as demonstrated by the commercials.
Just FYI, it iis better to stay w/ your pet at the vets. They tell everyone that. They muzzle them in back. That's why you can't hear him. If they had a video you'd insist to stay w/ him. Try Pet Rescue Remedy to chill him out & tell vet he's had reactions to vaxx. They're good for 12yrs!!
My hubby started an ulcer from drinking coffee every morning on an empty stomach. His stomach just couldn't take the acid. Do you eat anything with your morning coffee?
I think it’s called MeTV David they got several channels one place threes company all the time one plays bewitched I dream of Jeannie Rawhide. There’s one that plays all westerns. I came across threes company the other day and I about fell out of the chair laughing. It was so funny. I forgot how funny John Ritter was.
I got to know my nephew’s American Staffordshire Terrier during the 15 months he was living with my mom and me. I believe it’s just in their nature to be very “talkative”! I loved talking to her. She was a hoot and that’s when I fell in love with that particular breed. I want one really bad and hope that I can find one at the shelter when I move to a place that allows dogs. Lefty has stolen my heart. 🤗😁 Stay safe out there!
I never knew what I was in for when I found him - now I'll always have a Staffie. They're such characters and I'm sure you'll find one to take home. The shelter here is full of them :/
I'd look at medium duty International rigs. They're bigger inside and have a better driving experience :) If you're looking at Class III like mine, then the Ford with a 7.3 Powerstroke is the best, and most common, solution :)
Hello my friend if you ever make it to Syracuse, NY hit me up if you have an external hard drive I have 14 TB filled of Movies and TV shows that you are more than welcome to them, save on streaming services

Lefty is such a handsome young man. I used to have trouble with my stomach and pains and I've been taking Prilosec for years my first drink of water and or coffee in the morning is with a Prilosec. ❤😊
Coffee is high in acid but you can get low acidic coffee.
Same here! :)
@@Mkp2375 cold brewing your coffee cuts down the acid a lot. If you like it hot, you can always heat it after it's brewed.

Great info - thank you!
Thank you Dave and Lefty you just don't know how good it makes me feel to see you back home in the USA. Thanks again.
Thank you for being with us :)
Thank you for those tips! Leftys hair is so short that the tics show up easy thankfully.
Hopefully you and Lefty, and lest I forget, the rig don't have any serious issues. I left Coconino on Saturday. Was starting to get a little too "active" for my liking. Up in Kaibab now. Much more pleasant. Take care.
I know it's nice there this time of year:)
I bet I was glowing in the dark!
Given Lefty has a history of reactions you should just be able to call and get a refill for the med that helps him.
That old show tv channel might be, WeTV or, MeTV, I use to watch it on digital TV when was on the treadmill.
I’m in the Poconos and we were in the woods for 2 hours. My dog had over 20 tics crawling on her. I found 5 on myself.
They are all over here too. I don't remember ticks being a thing when I was a kid...
Did they test for H. Pylori bacteria? If not, they should. Can cause your symptoms and ulcers…
Yes. It’s just a breath test too.
Not good to let it fester.
So glad to hear the doc says you’re good!
I've been painting over 25 years don't think there are any good ones left out there we are a dying breed
I hate that we have to really look for a quality painter... It's not like it used to be :/
For a phone my friend went to the lost luggage at the airport in NY and got a used cell phone fir cheep. I guess they sell the stuff that doesn't get claimed.
That's interesting - never would have thought about that!
Sounds like somebody needs to put up a Geese Crossing sign.
The location of the shoe rack has more to do with him chewing up. When left along in ambulance with rack on door its fair game.
I know! Its right in his face.:)
I think prilosec is available as a generic now over the counter.
Prescription is stronger.
Mine are generic prescription that my insurance covers thankfully :)
Lefty…..you are so adorable!! Loved seeing so much of him in this video!!
I'm not liking how they impact him... I've got to rethink this.
@TheCampulanceMan def chose titers over excessive shots.
Lefty has some cow mix in him!
Did you want your mechanic friend to do a roof raise for you Dave? That way you can stand up comfortably inside your rig. A forklift can be used to lift the roof.
They just creep me out and I hate doing that to him :/
I had a quote from a guy for $13k... ummm, no. If I had a shop I'd do it myself :)
Prilosec helped my ulcers a lot.
David, I just picked up the Google Pixel 6a from Straight Talk for 200 bucks. It's got a great camera and takes care of all the other business. Thanks for the videos.
mine like his salad down by the river
Ugh…the ticks! 😫 Us too… They don’t like Mala (she’s protected) but somehow I got 2 on my head! We’re lovin’ being surrounded by green! 💚🚐✨✨
Thanks David for a great video of your update with your life so far in NY. Hope everything continues to do well.
I don't let my dogs get any shots. Had a few dogs who got serious injuries from them. Fortunately Hawaii has no rabies.
I think what your meaning isn't prednisone but rather cortisone. Sound almost the same.
Nobody deserves to live at the whim of somebody else. I hope your mom finds a more comfortable living situation.
I am just now watching this. The cube that charges My phone doesn't seem to be working very well.
David they have nursery heaters for germinating seeds. They stay at 77°f
Great for lifepo4 batteries.
Awesome video guys!😊❤
I just wrote a very long response lol didn't mean to but I felt like answering lol. Hi Lefty you're the best!
If it is unsteady tracking in the steering or "death wobble" increase the caster angle and install aftermarket caster bushings if necessary.
Have you taken any probiotics? I switched to a carnivore diet and I feel great
Great video!
I'm experimenting on foods to find out what bothers me... i guess the good ol days of eating everything is gone :/
I’m glad you’re both doing well. Buster has cancer and will cross the rainbow bridge soon. We will miss him greatly!
Sorry to hear that about buster hopefully he ain't suffering but definitely give him lots of love
I'm sorry to hear that - I know you're giving him all the love everyday :)
We have MeTV here, which is a national chain. They show old western TV shows all afternoon Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Rifleman, and Wagon Train. Even more on weekends. Old people tv, as demonstrated by the commercials.
Right! I noticed the commercials
David,it is great hearing all your med tests came out ok…so far ! Also Lefty’s med tests as well!
We muzzled him in the room with me before - he gets growling at them :)
My hubby started an ulcer from drinking coffee every morning on an empty stomach. His stomach just couldn't take the acid. Do you eat anything with your morning coffee?
I don’t typically - just the coffee...
Mom suggested the same thing - MeTV - I'd never heard of it :)
The shelter here is full of them :/
David, I’m finally free enough to buy a rig and get going. What’s your advice on rig choice? 7.3 ambo or anything else I should look at too?
I'd look at medium duty International rigs. They're bigger inside and have a better driving experience :) If you're looking at Class III like mine, then the Ford with a 7.3 Powerstroke is the best, and most common, solution :)
Hello my friend if you ever make it to Syracuse, NY hit me up if you have an external hard drive I have 14 TB filled of Movies and TV shows that you are more than welcome to them, save on streaming services
I've got a 4TB drive with movies and shows - I carry that in case we have no cell service and I want my movie time!
