I always found it amusing how the camera shifts behind you as if you were about to take control, only for it to start actually loading the battle x)
Sometimes I wonder how much more interesting the battle cutscenes would be if this theme was the sign of a dynamic sweeping camera every time someone clashed
@@VonFirflirch That's the problem when the cutscene isn't happening in the world as an event, but it's only a video that is shown when you trigger a condition. Don't know how they call it, but the later doesn't allow you to "enter the cutscene"

I love how at 3:24 they swap the roles of the guitar with the violin and vice-versa. The violin starts playing the verse of the guitar and leads with the guitar falling back to be the support.
But the violins play the melody throughout the whole piece...

I have never been so terrified so quickly as when Zeke literally bolted through Rex, Nia, and Tora. The absolute shock that came over me literally left me paralyzed for the rest of the cutscene and the fight.
Shock that Zeke is the most powerful driver, and best human in Alrest? No doubt.
As soon as Zeke started speaking in that cutscene I knew SOMETHING was up.
Such a jarring tonal shift.

And gruntilda’s theme didn’t make it in for banjo kazooie. It wasn’t in the trailer but it was a strange omission seeing as she was the final boss of all the games
The guitar solo from this song is what was playing in my head a bit after sinking in the fact that Pyra and Mythra were gonna be in smash. Kickass.

The entire Xeno series is extremely worth your time! I recommend the main Xenoblade Trilogy and then playing Xenogears and Xenosaga to see the origin of a lot of the plotpoints of the Blade games

I know the song plays in boss battles with many different characters, but I still always associate this song with Malos. I think it makes since as he is the first Chapter Boss.

When I started XC2 after XC1 I was so concerned because people said it wasn't as good as the first. This song is when my worries were laid to rest. XC2 is actually my favourite now lol.

The combo of heavy metal with epic violins makes this basically Mechanical Rhythm 2 for me (and I love it)
I don't think many people know this, but this theme is actually different that the one you hear in game. At points like 0:39, it is much more guitar heavy in this version than in game, where it is much more violin heavy. I love this track, but if you want to hear the actual one used in game, the smash bros remix uses the original (so I guess this is more of a remix than the smash bris one lol)

I think this is my favorite track from any video game. Starting from 1:57 to 2:35 is beautiful. Every time this popped up in game I knew I was in for an amazing battle.

You do fight very often against Malos if you think about it. But it doesn't get old luckily, since they always mix it up a little bit and you can see him growing stronger parallel to you. If you surpass him (killing Sever in the second fight), he surpasses you next time (reobtaining his Aegissword). You surpass him again and he teams up with Jin. (I would've preferred if he felt down to Morytha before that, honestly because the victory felt kinda... well it didn't last long. They still could've done a Jin-Malos Teamup fight down there and let Malos pull off a "Let's finish this in Elysium, kid" if they met near the worldtree.) And after you beat the two of them, he goes inside a freaking Megazord. And you defeat him in the most cheesiest anime way possible. Awesome.
