"Goodbye, Mom." When I watched that moment, I genuinely felt sad for Isabella (somewhat bittersweet though because of what she did in previous episodes) after seeing her backstory in Episode 12. This is easily in my top 5 anime of all time. I focused mostly on my performance/dynamics with this one as opposed to creating a "better" arrangement. I think for this one, simplicity is nice. The events of Episode 12 and this BGM playing in the background convinced me to cover this OST after hearing it all season and wondering if I should cover it. I hope it was worth it and hope you enjoy learning this one! Oh and yes, this will be on Spotify along with my Spring Anime covers in my new cover album in a few weeks!

I was volunteering at this elementary school today and there was this kid who looked a lot like Ray. I was like you look a lot like this character from anime I watched. I played piano since I was 6, but I never could read sheet music and only played with memory. This stopped me from learning new songs and trying to learn on my own, but this cover was so pretty that I started without any plans. But After 3 weeks of practicing (i know, that's a lot of time for such a short piece but it was really hard for me)I finally finished learning it and it makes me so happy and excited. Thank you for this piece and for your free sheets!
Honestly same though. I played piano for several years because my mum forced me too and I didn’t want to learn how to sight read and I never wanted to practice. But this piece made my sight reading so much better and engaged me to keep practicing and learning piano and be happier about it

Shalihin41 this might be wrong but basically the reason she became a mum was to give the children the best life possible before they were sent away to be eaten (and also to survive) which I guess most people found really sweet and just sad in general (me included) Read the manga it makes more sense
It was a give away for me because of the fact they decided to name the child and normally they only name the important people, like Connie! She was given a name because she was the reason they found out about the farm.

As a manga reader i loved how they managed to, somehow, make the first arc in the anime just 24/10. But oh boy, season 2 is coming this year in the anime and all i've got to say Is... Get ready for epic scenes, amazing plot twists, and probably very beautiful music too!

Isabella is the best example that you can't judge a person by their current behavior, you need to know their past first. Everyone hated her right from the beginning without even questioning what she must've been through, but after seeing the 12th episode everyone started to have sympathy with her. I love your video btw. I am a pianist too and even easy pieces take much time to learn and play perfectly so I appreciate your effort for making this. It sounds beautiful :3

I was playing this at my piano lesson when my teacher went out of the room for a moment, I took the chance to play this and when he comes back, I quickly stopped. He said "No don't stop, you can continue it!" The I just played it as he said. He loved it, and also my performance of this song is better than the other songs given by my teacher. 😂😅

GUYS I just started learning this! EDIT: I learned the beginning, I’m at 1:10 currently. Seems kinda hard to move around in this next part and there are a lot of jumps, but I’ll manage somehow! 😅 EDIT 2: Arrived at 1:20. Not much progress since I've only been practicing this part cuz I couldn't hit all the right notes. It seemed more difficult than I initially thought but I surprisingly learned it pretty fast! :))
