G’day Rogee. Been watching heaps of your videos recently as I’m a new hunter and trying to get an idea of what I need to be doing and where I need to be going. Manawatu local so I’ve been hiking up some similar spots. Thanks for sharing your tips and skills. One day will be aspiring to your, and the bros skill levels with getting into the bush and recovery of the prize. Awesome. Keep it up.

Loved the break down of what you do. Great tips.
Most of which you do second nature, but you never think about. I sure did pick up on a few things. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone hunting and your heart rate is still high and adrenaline is high and you miss. Your like WTF.
In the last year I do let my heart rate drop. However I went hunting with a few mates and one was so trigger happy and missing most of the time. We had to say just slow down and breathe then he was fine.
You sure do prepare for all an occasion.
Deliberate and deticated processes help you minimise the variables that can lead to failure brother😉🤙🏽...Im glad you picked up a few pointers and good to hear you mentoring your mates into good process🤙🏽

Great to catch-up with you Mr Young. .. me and my uncle went up to mount Ross it's horrible wind😢 .. we saw 3 red deers pop out but just below one of the hunter who doesn't notice a deers below them
We just leave it .... We shot 1 goat just for uncle to carry home 😅. Great trip anyway

Mr Young Just want to ask you a question about public land .. we been sleep over night on our second night the spot where we meet you both and next morning we been up cast check deer and suddenly 2 hunters walk up and decided to walked down to right hand side and sit 30m below us .. I mean is that ok ? I don't know I feel they should move further or back away from us .... We just feel unsafe .. really want to chat to them but I don't know I have the right way to ask them to go further or not ..

Thats poor hunting etiqutte by those two hunters. They should've have just moved to another area not sit there and hunt the same area as you. No written rule about it, but thats just a shitty thing to do!!!
