  • Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) MPs have disrupted Parliament during President Jacob Zuma’s response to the Nkandla saga.
    Zuma was giving MPs feedback in Parliament on the Nkandla upgrades when EFF MPs started chanting: "Bring back the money."
    The fracas followed a question by EFF leader Julius Malema to Zuma about when he was going to repay money wasted in security upgrades at his Nkandla home...owl.li/Azss0

  • @corrysmith2356

    I got touched by the behaviour for a minute. Then realised although unruly. They have been (unlike all others in parlament) people who aren't willing to roll over and die. We can't hate what we get. Then go home and complain. Now it's in everyone's faces that this man is not paying and being slick about it. I'm not saying vote for EFF, ANC nor DA. All I'm saying if you don't like something, contest it.

    • @DAluxRk
      @DAluxRk 10 років тому +1

      Tyrone, EFF most of the time have a valid point but the manner that they behave is not appropriate for the house, DA use to challenge the opposition effectively without getting kicked out. They need to play the game according to the rules and behave. Right now their point gets shunt to the side cause they cause a spectacle.

      Have we all forgotten that Malema also has stolen money from us hardworking tax payers.SARS had him under their magnifying glass before the elections for money laundering. how did that saying go" take the splinter out of your own eye before trying to help someone else. They are all corrupt,show me one bone in Malema's overweight body that is honorable.When whites were in government they too were corrupt. Each unto their own.

    • @Tdubs241083
      @Tdubs241083 10 років тому +4

      Jason Marx They are all corrupt of course but it should not be the case that we show favour in parliament or the courts. When someone is being targeted by the system then it is no longer fair. If the DA were being given the same run around we would have no end of moaning from those of us who support the opposition. They should all equally be held to account but should also be given the same space to exercise their parliamentary duty as appointed by the people. Let's not forget that even if we think that Malema is a distructive self seeking extorter of poor people's frustrations. He and his fellow EFF members have been democratically elected to parliament and as such they have a duty to represent their voters. That's how democracy works.

    As South African Citizen we respected the ANC for years, now we must seat and pretend like this matter is not being side line. No NEVER working class is tired of feeding these Ministers to live lavish lifestyle while poor South African go to sleep without food, no proper shelter, bad health institution, bad Education Institution. It is high they recall Zuma and his Deputy since their hands are dripping with blood of people who died without getting any sufficient service from the Public Institution. All the officials found guilty of corruption should not take part in Politics, they must be banned and face jail time like they do in the private sector. This ANC is taking away every penny we supposed to be putting towards developing our Country enough is enough.

    I don't understand why fully grown people would act so chaotic and animal like...what are we supposed to learn from the elderly leaders,if they cannot even behave in a dignified manner??

    Julius Malema and his fellow MP's are raising valid questions that deserve to be answered. People may criticise him but I say see how the current British Premier for that matter conducts himself in parliament, not only him but all the fellow ministers but nobody gets kicked off the house. Tony Blair was even worse in his time. People might argue and say this is South Africa but remember it is also POLITICS.

    Before I thought EFF was on the right path. But after this I think I must revist my views on this party. Here they have failed us. It seems as if they do not have the capacity to realize if they have won a debate. Here they have won this round but they did not realize it instead they went ahead and ruined it. Will they be able to know if they are loosing? It seems that age and immaturity is failing them.

    if u can apply yo brains properly u can see the need of mr president paying back our money, we need it, the ANC of JZ is too bad to be trusted, though Malema might look disrespectful but the truth remains that his point is valid and must be attended by positive actions on the part of JZ. I hate thieves. I fear that if JZ don't pay this money his conduct will soon be adopted by local gov. leaders, iam afraid we gonna suffer more. if the head of the state is not responsible then soon the entire country will fall. WE WANT THE MONEY TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS TRANSPARANCY AND FAIRNESS IN THIS DEMOCRATIC DISPENSATION.
