I stopped using Adobe Acrobat and switched completely to Edge for PDF reading a long time ago. I keep 100-150 tabs with pdf files as big as 50-60 MB open all the time and it still works as smoothly as it would have worked with just 1 tab.

But open as a new tab when you click on some button on the website. That's even more dangerous. Because you can't even avoid the click

I use edge over Google on daily basis and it has great efficiency. On my device , chrome takes up nearly 36% of cpu capacity. Whereas edge barely adds any stress to it.
Bro I was using the edge for my daily task related to my organizational, but one of the web tool doesn't work properly. It hangs a lot in edge, resently i switched to Chrome and the process beacame smoothest. Now I am using Edge as a PDF reader only. All of my work is now shifted to Chrome.

I switched to edge 1 year ago from chrome after 10 years and I didn’t look back. They’re always listening to users and continuously improving. Take the jump guys. It will be worth it. Vertical Tabs are awesome btw

I did the same but now I’m back to Chrome because Edge is too intrusive - showing ads on new tabs and coupon option popups on Amazon and Flipkart. Chrome is a more calm experience to use

Almost all those things can be done on chrome with browser extension, I get it edge might be better but I'm so used to chrome been using it very since I started using internet. I am not going to switch browser until any browsers starts paying me.

Firefox has all of these except the last one, and it supports PiP on all websites (+Edge is filled with popups, colorful icons and sidebars for advertising Microsoft products, kinda like Windows but cranked up to 11)

For PDFs, I switched from Edge to Chrome because Find (Ctrl+F) on Edge is very slow.
Chrome because of the benefit of Android ecosystem. All my password, id, plug in, bookmarks are already in chrome. So switching is difficult

If a loophole or vulnerability is found the community instantly also sends a bug fix, which the devs respond quickly by modifying and releasing a new buy fix patch to the whole world. Meanwhile non open-source software in general takes weeks just to fix the bug itself, let alone patch it.
