I am ashanti from ghana and i looooooove igbo movies so what i find fascinating is why are the playing music from my language, I just bursted out laughing. All the songs they are playing on the tape is typical village style songs from my tribe (ashanti) - the language is twi. Gotta love my igbos.
Great observation MISSY KAY. It might be that the early Ashanti settlers migrated from Igboland or they picked up some of the Igbo cultures/songs, etc... The reason I say this is because I've heard some songs from Guinea that sounds just like Igbo songs. So let me ask: do you understand Igbo?
igbowood thanks to nollywood movies (Patience Ozokwor, Bob Manuel, etc etc in the English movies ) and also thanks to watching igbo movies, I can understand small small. If i spend at least 3 months in Enugu, Anambra or Imo state and hear it everyday and learn, I promise I will be fluent. I already speak 3 ghanaian languages, so languages is not a problem. I am a quick learner.
My happiness in this firm is this Biafra Logo I saw in it am really happy
