- We've reached the first boss and this really isn't easy. I'd say this is on par with the toughest bosses in the original trilogy. The "Guitar Hero" parts aren't that bad, but the final part is easy to mess up.
I appreciate that you actually let N. Gin finish his sentences while on the drums, most don't do that!

I'm glad we have the cool N. Gin back after the weird colorless masochist version we had during the PS2 era.

Two things I gotta say to this.
1: God, this was the only boss of the game I actually fully LIKED. Fitting world (and hobby(?)) for the boss, cool premise for the fight, sick theme playing during it, and overall just fun to play. All the others had unfitting worlds, had crap fights or were just uninteresting...especially the second Cortex & N. Tropy fights. The former was an asspull and the latter was a copout.
2: BULLLLSHIT that people are calling this fight hard. I didn't have much trouble during it, and I either didn't die on it, or I did but only ONCE during the fourth part of it, as that's what I remember. Admittedly, the circles were tricky to avoid, but it really isn't THAT hard, people...
Rawk-It Hëd is such an awesome name for a band.
I thought Huge Adventure/XS was original for having N. Gin as the 2nd boss, but as a first boss? And this fight looks pretty cool.
Well, If you count the ghost chase in the N.Sanity beach area as a boss, N. Gin is still the second one.
If you don't, then N. Gin would be the first boss
@@Werglll Also if you count the Mecha Bandicoot battle in Twinsanity since N.Gin was piloting it.
@@robonaught wouldn't he technically be the second? You fight the robot after Cortex so I'd probably count the mecha bandicoot as a second boss, just in the same area.
I mean, all bosses videos count the ghost as a boss because it sends you back to the start if you die. Wether you count it, is your preference.
So much easier after knowing you just had to jump on the front of the truck !! id got throught so many times but couldn't do the end bit bc i kept trying to jump on the tiny platform and wait for the speaker's 😅 finally beat it !!!
Yeah, I think that N. Gin lost his sense of music the day that missile got lodged in his head.

Crash 4 easily had some of the best bosses in the franchise. They actually tested the skills you picked up, like a good platforming boss should.
Agreed. There could have been more to the N Brio and Tropy fights, but overall they were pretty solid
I just wish there were no checkpoints… i think putting checkpoints for each hit was a major let down. They should have made it that if you die even if it was last hit you go back and repeat everything again.
actually, this is pretty cool boss battle. and compared to tiny tiger boss on crash 3 warped, this is quite enjoyable boss fight

A Mad Max-type world was the perfect environment for this guy.
Guitar Hero references aside, this is my favorite N.Gin fight, Yes, even better than Crash 2 and 3.

If anyone is struggling on this battle and getting annoyed at dying so much just turn it off and come back later. I thought it was hard but after coming back with a fresh mind I did it all with around 20 deaths. It taken like half an hour, if that. It's really not that hard. Just come back when you can focus properly.
The first parts where you're dodging the flares and kicking the runts at him is fun. I absolutely hate that there's a quick ass fucking time limit for the 2nd parts where you have jump on the appear-triggering boxes. I can't get past this and I just want to experience the other great looking levels in this game. But this FIRST BOSS ruined it for me 😪

What buttons do u press to do the laying down thing for the red things I can't get passed this for the life of me hope someone can tell me and why does it take so long to get threw this part its srly such an annoying part I was doing great up until this point wat the heck I feel like I'm going to feel stupid after noting the combination of buttons to do the laying down well at least I hope that it gets easier instead of having to jump to the side and back on I new there had to be an easier way but It doesn't say in this video the combination of buttons to do the laying down when it really needs to include that information for pple to be able to no cuz I can't b the only one😂🤣
If you mean ducking the red rings, circle button on Playstation. It's pretty simple.
