Oscar I just found your page and I'm looking foward to learning your tips. My layout is just a simple 4x8 but I have totes full of track amd switches to grow. Learning from others like yourself will be so helpfull, as I have zero artistic abilities.
That's going to be way-cool! Having multiple levels makes a layout so much more interesting. Thanks for sharing your work . . . very entertaining (especially when the pointy-finger makes an appearance!!!) 👈👉👇☝
I want to kinda do a small one train scale layout before I get up to a big scale. To practice plaster and effects. One day I would love to do a horror movie one with the classic monsters
hey! love your layout by the way! I did at one time but the room isn’t big enough to do that and give me the space I wanted for buildings and structures.
How do you like the FastTrack? Do you need 2 run more feeder wires 2 power the whole layout ive heard the fast track doesnt distribute current well i dont know....so give me your professional opinion what you think im gunna build a layout and wondering what kind of track 2 use
The sound of that slow-mo coal train is a thing of beauty! Great job
I agree!

Welcome aboard! let me know what you’d like to learn! let’s take the journey together
Your layout has gotten huge! You've show a great deal of patience in your construction, something I sorely lack.
yeah, time and patience is the key
Really nice and very helpful. Thanks!
glad I could help
You can still use the failed clay bricks for a dilapidated building, a failing retaining wall etc. Love the progress!!
Oh wow, i hadn't though of that! GREAT IDEA!!!
Great video. I appreciate that you have your layout built, but are also adding to it.👍
Thanks for watching!

sounds interesting
Have you thought about running your layout around the edges of the room and opening up the middle? That would allow you to run larger curves.

I use terminal track every 8- to 10 pieces. I also keep feeder wires less than 24 inches long. haven’t had many issues at all.
@@oscarso-gaugetrains thanx 4 getting back to me
how did you make the brick walls of clay ? Im a beginner and trying to learn.
I took the basic concept in this UA-cam tutorial and made it for brick walls. ua-cam.com/video/3Z9nQbJat4E/v-deo.html
Hello from Branson
Hello there Mark, thanks for stopping by. hope you continue to enjoy the content. I’m usually there once a year 😉
We learn by making mistakes The brick wall pieces that didn't come out just right are perfect for marking WWII bombed out building ruins. .
yeah I just repurposed them.
But in real life bricks are never perfect that is one of the better things about modelling.. things stuff up just like in reality...
I’m slowly finding that to be true 😂
Like the o scale for the size....but don't like the third rail track, and the rolling stock is to toy like looking......not as detailed as the h.o.
thank for sharing
Obnoxious bell sound. No thanks
