  • No, it's not ChatGPT. And it's not exactly Google, either. When you have a tech problem and you want to solve it quick, that's part of the problem. But if you take into account simple human nature, you can solve your problems in record time - and learn something along the way!

If it's an open-source application you have in issue with, it's very likely the developers have a discord somewhere where the community has solved the problem for someone else already. Similar to the forum searching process, but way faster since it's easier to search imo, and people tend to actually confirm when a solution works.

These days I tend to do a search on UA-cam for tech solutions. I hope you're well and not too hot and humid in your part of France unlike my part of Spain 🥵

I WAS hot - like REALLY hot, but now it's actually cool out and predicted to stay that way. So, heat wave over!

My number one Windows problem is my mouse cursor at random times becoming many times bigger. Has been an issue since 98 or maybe XP... the internet is full of "have you tried this?"-es, and nothing does anything. Mind boggling.

Are you using the same keyboard or computer?
I had my mouse wandering across the screen on my laptop..
      turned out..
after trying all sorts of things...
there was a problem with the keyboard..
I bought another and it fixed it 😻
Something to check when buying a laptop... some.. like my Acer ..
You can replace the keyboard without taking the whole thing apart 🐈

@@mySeaPrince_ No, this is a windows symptom spanning through generations of Windows iterations AND all sorts of hardware, the past 20 years. It sometimes does it every 5 minutes, sometimes never for half a year, but it WILL come back. I once had an entire afternoon getting it, and switching it back manually, just to see it embiggened seconds after.
