Is it possible to adjust the DIP switch setting of the arcade (NAOMI) version to start each match with unfilled super meter, or are you always required to start with a maxed out super meter?
@Nifterific So you're saying the DIP switch of the arcade version doesn't allow you to set the starting stock on the super meters to zero at the beginning of each match like all the other home ports?
@ home ports frequently have options not present in arcade versions. No you can’t change it. You couldn’t change it in the PS2 Anthology dip switches either. Maybe the new collection will add it. But it hasn’t been in any previous version that emulated the arcade game.
@@Nifterific Hearing you giving inaccurate information about this matter brings me some relief that the dip switch setting for zeroing out the super meter might be present in the original NAOMI rom. SFAA on the PS2 were ports, not mere emulation. As such, the option to set the starting super meter gauge to zero is in fact present. I know because I have a copy of SFAA for the PS2 and the first thing I did when I went into SFA3, SFA3U, and HSFA is to go to Option Menu and set Super Gauge from "Max" to "0."
Damn, I was enjoying so much that Guile vs Nash fight, it was definitely a tight match
Can't wait till this game is released with Fighting Collection 2!
I wish it were Alpha 3 MAX.
@@Kalebent +1 to that. Nevertheless, this is a solid SF game and Alpha game. Probably the best next to 3 MAX.
You can play it already in SF anniversary collection
@@sacredgear That's not the "Upper" version with the extra characters, etc. though.
@@sacredgear The versions that appear in SF 30th Anniversary Collection are the WORST versions of each game.

It’s always on. This is part of how Alpha 3 was meant to be played.
