The history between Tonga and Fiji is connected. There's a group islands in Fiji that were conquered by a Tongan Prince Enele Ma'afu who became the Tuilau or in Tongan Tu'ilau. These people this keep the strong traditions from those days as I observe. They still speak Tongan do the Tongan dances dress etc. This is my people my moms great great grandfather comes from Lau in Lakeba. He sailed to Tonga and met Tongan lady that's where I come from.
