- My personal favourite animations throughout Rome 2 Total War Now Updated With More Brutal Animations and better graphics And FPS.
Rome 2 custom battles with some community made mods and units which can been seen from the Spartans. All animations are very are in the game and usually are all equally being seen due to the mod. Hope you enjoy the animations I’ve found through replaying battles.
This was created through a list of mods (below) as it is very rare to see some play out so often.
Some animations are more common than others with these mods.

@Batchest That's a Praetorian Guard. You'll know because of their Purple Capes and the Regular Legionary doesn't have Capes

with the battles going so fast it's hard to notice them all..
No it seems they are fast.. no as far I saw here at least.. Its like the reality that you cannot stay still and fight like you are in phalanx... there is a real chaos and if the battle style of moving and fighting (not the kill/death animations only running and fighting around ) was more chaotic you would feel like you see a real fight !!!!!!
In reality the moves you choose the moral and adrenaline leads you to a small choices of fight ..and you are in somehow at lost of killing spree ... I can see that and in here. Welldone and the maker of this mod and the uploader which finally there is a new about emperor edition fight and death animations !!!
ye you’re right. it’s because if you stick to army to watch what is going on there, you’ll miss strategically important points and you’ll lose troops. also when every soldier standing one inch away from another it’s becoming not a fight but pushing simulator and it’s really impossible to notice which soldier gonna do the animation inside 200 soldiers fighting
Try a realism mod
There should be more mods like stainless steel where battles last longer due to the units being more defensive
I haven't seen a lot of these too because everyone just blobs into one big clusterfuk

@@derangedtortoise909 You know... from diplomatic way, troy is much better. you’re actually making real alliances and all countries doesn’t attack each other just because. they actually need a big reason, and if a country will be aggressive to few for no reason, all other countries will see a threat in him and declare a war. so living in peace actually is possible. in rome i found it annoying to give one land for peace agreement to see him attack me on the next turn again. the only problem troy has is battles. i’ve got the new blood and gore dlc but it’s still looks shit cuz they don’t fight normal. all they do is swing the sword and opponent dies... no single death animation...

Those little animations are what made the last generation of total war so good! Shame there wasn't any simple soldier animations in 3k...

You can't easily have these animation in battles , You Troops must be very late ones and or really experienced(ranked) ones

I understand why they didn't do it, since the unit variety is massive in Total Warhammer, but its incredibly disappointing to not see animations like this in 3K or Troy.

Actually, violence was so casual that people were desenstized. PTSD rates were far lower than they were today
The Beauty of Sync Kill, Key Essence of Total War, All Gone Since Warhammer Total War.
I really like warhammer, but when i zoom into any battle of it, all i see and feel is pure disapointment. Only Monster and Ranged Units can save the battle for me.
Wow, I didn't know there were so many animations! When I'm looking for them in a battle, I always get distracted from the important events :D How did you manage to have units that can switch from spear and shield to using the spear with both hands? As to be seen e.g. at 7:38

capitan America should learn from these guys. These wizards can magically summon their shield on their back after the animation ends xD
I think I saw almost everything but I never saw the charge animations ( especially with the sword that the attacker hits the defender shield with while hes charging wild) and the other with the shield defender who tries to defend himself with the shield and the attacker hits him more than 3 times again and again and again and again
New video has all charge animations included, as well as new spear animations along with cav and dogs.

I know how much work it would be but I really really wish warhammer tw had this level of detail in the infantry combat. It's not even really entertaining to watch because they just hack and slash at the air and then units die and go flying in the air. I wanna see this cinematic combat in the warhammer series
They can't because all the units are so different. It'd be hell to create unique animations for every unit against every other
