I was put into foster care when I was 4. I was adopted when I was 7. I still find out stuff to this day. One decision changes so many lives. For better or for worst, that's who I was and this is who I am. This is where I belong.

I found my forever family whether they adopt me not not. I hear this song and think of them saying this to me. Brings tears to my eyes every time. It’s not easy just keep your head up. It gets better I promise you that.
Feel blessed if you can sing this song and read its words envisioning your loving family. My whole life I've been wanting to feel like what the message in this chorus is saying. Not everyone has a life like this. Where others want to win the lottery or make it rich as their dream in life, some just want to belong, and be surrounded by love. Don't take that for granted. Ashley Pruitt It's okay. When I was 3 I was taken from my mom. I was in foster care for a year and then I my grandma decided to take me and my two siblings in with her. We lived with her until I was around 7 or 8, I'm not sure. Then we moved back with my mom and have been ever since :))

I have visited my birth parents a couple of times but I don't really like them especially since I found out that I got taken away from them because they would leave me home alone in my crib and the neighbors found me and called CPS on my parents. My parents left me for drugs. But I am happy with my new family. Keep in mind I have been in 13 different homes untill I finally found the right family.😀😥👪
