Pornography, alcohol, marijuana, nicotine, and caffeine addiction were all done away with in my life by the love and forbearance of our almighty god! 🙌
This was my late mother's favorite hymn. She died very suddenly in 1983 at the age of 51, and her funeral was the first time I heard it. I still get misty-eyed when I hear it, and you have performed it beautifully.
In my primary school back 50 years ago when I first heard this song sung by our school choir. Listening to it again brings a lot of fond and happy memories. I made up my mind then to follow this man of Galilee ever since.
Visiting my daughter in Nova Scotia I listened to a song of them, and I love listening to these beautiful songs. Back in Cyprus and still listening God bless.
Praise THE LORD!a song I learned from my now sleeping Father. Caused my eyes to cloud up and burn🥹No not for my Father who is resting in JESUS; but at the amazing matchless love of GOD.”Even so, come LORD JESUS! The grace of our LORD JESUS be with us all Amen Rev22:21.
Ask Jesus to accept you rather...ask for the gift of repentance, ask for the gift of faith to believe...He IS LORD and SAVIOR to whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess ♥
Thank you for this beautiful rendition of a song one of my dad's customers used to sing when he would visit the church we were members of. I probably haven't heard this song in 30 years but I often think of him as he played the piano and sang with all his heart. These old hymns all the special place in my heart mind and soul what a great way to serve the Lord writing these hymns and Performing these hymns.
I love these hymns because scripture's own words are used that is why they are so life changing because the scriptures, for all scripture is given by inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT.
I heard this song sung as a child 60-70 years ago. I loved it then as now. I haven’t heard it in years but so happy to have found this beautiful choir rendition now.
Thank you so much for posting this lovely hymn - it brings back wonderful memories from my childhood (70 years ago) when my late mother (who passed away in 1995 at the age of 85) used to sing this while accompanying herself on the old black Kapps piano.
@sesomonte thank you for all of the hymns. I'm a gentile, so a lot of these are absolutely brand new to me. Ruth 2:12. In the KJV. Of which is the only written word our Lord Jesus Christ's Spirit testifies of. As God is not the author of confusion, and we have set to our seal that he is true. He cannot testify of lying words.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 kjv. Simply believing is all thats required to get saved and stay saved. God bless you
