  • This is the second of five tutorial videos that cover the basics of using the VIC-3D digital image correlation system from Correlated Solutions. This video covers best practices for capturing test images in VIC-Snap. In it, we’ll run a simple tensile test on a plastic dog bone in the MTS Exceed 43 test frame, capture images of the test with VIC-Snap, and get ready to import them into the VIC-3D system. Along the way, we’ll review some of the advanced options in VIC-Snap and cover some basic tips and tricks.
