I remember those AirBerlin A330s. Used to fly them multiple times a year between Chicago and Berlin. I miss having that nonstop flight, but now no airlines fly directly between the two cities.
Yup. Had to connect in Frankfurt with Lufthansa, but at least I got to fly a 747-8i!

Simple aircraft. Not too big & posh, like A380, yet not cramped like single aisle planes.

Flew MH last year (and a bit of this year) to and from Sydney to Dhaka, and I had a pretty good experience, even in economy! Would fly them again sometime soon.

I am a Malaysian , I know the terminal very well , but i haven't flown Malaysia Airlines , instead I fly AirAsia becuz it is cheap or Thai Airways because they food is delicious . I think is very strange that I haven't flown Malaysia Airlines

Another fine report as always. Your meal looked delicious but I wasn't keen on the aisle seat, still for a short flight it was better than economy. I love the fact that even though I don't travel, I always feel like I am when watching your amazing reports. Seen on your Instagram that Rach has headed over seas to Seattle. I flew on one of these last year on the very same route (Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok) and was disappointed because I was hoping for the newer seats. But the lounge in Kuala Lumpur was far better than I was expecting.
It feels weird seeing an Airberlin A330, Cause I just loved the A330s that AirBerlin operated.

Not a bad effort, Noel: "ayam" (meaning chicken) is pronounced "I am". Your pronunciation of "percik" was pretty much spot on.
I flew MH domestically this year (2022) between Kuala Lumpur and Borneo, on a B737-800, and was surprised to have inflight entertainment and a full meal service on a 2-hour flight. Really great experience. And the price was quite reasonable as well.

I flew Air Asia from SIN to KUL and used the LCC terminal. Very bleak.

@@bethhodgkinson2786 I'm 6'1" (187cm) and my knees were up by my face due to the legroom on board Air Asia's A320s. Didn't help there was some spoilt children sat in front of me pushing the seat back. At least I learnt my lesson - always get front row 🤣
Not bleak.. Brand new.. But like all mega terminals to be avoided coz way too far everything.. If you had no reason to skip Airasia yet you have it now

Also this is a crew rest seat you are sitting on. When this was airberlin this seat was not available for booking. I am 1.87 meters and had no issue stretching out in the flat bed. I sat in the aisle, window and also with my wife honeymoon seats. I think the new business class product on most Euro carriers sucks these days.
I do prefer a window seat as opposed to the aisle.

1 question, have you ever traveled to any of the most hazardous airports? including the one that lands on a very short hillside strip and the infamous one that the start of the landing strip is almost on a beach.
He took a helicopter to one of them (I think in the mountains of Nepal) and tried to eat KCF on top. I'll try to find it.

Everyone with masks in but no gloves and not washing their hands after touching every persons passport/ticket makes the whole operation look daft and just stupid.
The masks is extra dumb because the masks don’t prevent you from getting sick, the masks are only good for not spreading germs if you are already sick so these masks are absolutely useless if you are trying to avoid corona

Hi Noel one day I think you should try Virgin Atlantic economy delight review because i would like to see your opinion it was my first time on a long flight yesterday and I wet on Virgin Atlantic economy delight and it is decent and would be good to review on the way there it was a 747 to 400 and way back was airbus a300

Empty KUL airport....
I did a 9 hour flight from denver to London, and 7 times a baby and a toddler cried and winned on and off. Next time I take a trans Atlantic flight, I will have quality ear plugs, an eye sleep cover mask, and take 2 sleeping pills. Although thatvwont help with time change for the next 4 days. Yep I know.

I went to the website to see when this flight was actually taken. For some reason, I thought these videos went up days after flying. I guess you can't edit and process videos whilst you're on the plane .... yet.
