Many of my ideas about Duty Free Shopping became clear after watching the video.
Question : I’m have connecting flight from Canada->Delhi->Ahmedabad, if I am purchasing 2L. Of duty free from Canada(which is going to count in my 7 K.g. hand bag), so during connecting flight from Delhi->Ahmedabad, in my which luggage bag it is going to count? (It’s continuously going to count in my hand/carry-on bag? Or Do I have to put my duty free items in my checked bag (23 K.g.) after arrival to Delhi, and it will count in it?…. Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Tvm have different prices. The rent that these DFS pay is mindboggling. Hits the buyer. I always leave India with 4 x tin cans in my checked in baggage, with toothpaste/toiletries/undies/small stuff/medicines+ prescription. Laphroaig/Glengoyne/so many such brands come in cans. I buy 4 bottles in the DFS at destination, pack them into these cans for the return trip. Generally drink beer in pubs. Pick up 4 at Delhi DFS.

Don't agree with your observation on being allowed to bring the extra gift if offered on purchase of 2 liters of alcohol. Customs may not object but they can. Other thing in many countries you get 1.125 liter bottles. Here also technically Indian customs

Correction at 7:45- it's not 200 cigarettes, it's only 100 cigarettes or 25 cigars or 125gms of tobacco (any one of these 3)
Ciggerate guidelines needs to be checked for visiting country or place of immigration. Thailand allows 200 ciggerate on arrival

I am traveling from Delhi to Frankfurt I had pre purchased 2 litres of whiskey and paid for it , I will now pick that 2 bottles in return of the trip.
Now when I am back can I purchase 2 more bottles , is that legal please let me clear
It's quite urgent query as I'm traveling to India tomorrow from Dubai. I travelled from India 1 day before and got 2 ltrs of liquor from India duty free to consume in Dubai. But due to circumstances, I need to fly back to India. The bottles are still sealed and zipped in the same packet. Can I take those back to India from Dubai. Note: it's sealed nor the packet is opened.

I am sorry but this is not always true. The duty free prices are highly overrated in most countries. In countries like Japan, the price in local shop is a lot cheaper than inside the airport.

Re Delhi DFS. L1 Stores at Gurgaon are cheaper. Delhi DFS has a wider variety. If you must buy at Delhi DFS, stay with: Glenmorangie Original TWIN pack-NOT the single bottle; Old Pulteney 10 Years Old, Speyburn 10 YO; Longmorn 18 YO but 70CL. The two Glendronach expressions available are the Forgue 10 YO and the 16 YO Boynsmill 1 Litre at 46% ABV. I like the latter, a trifle expensive. I have not tasted a Caperdonich, so I will not comment there. As for Blended Scotch, Gurgaon L-1.

Everything is good, but jab yehi bhaisahab duty free mein aatein hai toh inki baatchit ka tone aur dhang change hoh jata hai, ese behave karte hai jaise ki duty free se nahi balki local theke se daru lehara hoh.
