Healing crystals can hurt you - A better way to find healing, peace and joy

- Crystals are fun and a lot of you like to collect them. But how do they make you feel better? Do you feel better just in the buying and collecting? Or do they have some sort of healing power? Can they make you feel spiritual and empowered? Can crystals really change your life? Perhaps not, but there is no doubt that the pain felt by so many is real and very difficult to ignore. Our pain demonstrates that something is wrong - that things are not as they should be. A wise man, C. S. Lewis, once said - “Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
The peace that can be found in Jesus is able to heal broken hearts - but it may well take time and a willingness to have a change of heart. But the opportunity in Christ is so huge, that even if you would lean towards not considering the Christian faith, I would urge you to look seriously into it and give it a try as the antidote to the pain and hurt of our lives and the meaningless malaise of our modern culture.

I am not sure what you mean by "capturing crystalline gold from ore". Normally its found by metal detecting.

When I am very disappointed about things and find it difficult to accept a little voice always comes to me and reminds me how much worse things could be or could of been and it humbles me, and yes be thankful for the good things in your life. As humans we are not perfect and that's okay, so let go of the past because there is no way to change it, and move forward with the lessons learned and enjoy this thing called life. I love rocks and crystals for their beauty but also for how hard of a journey they had in getting there.

Pain and suffering brings love and compassion. Without it we can no longer say what Christ did for us on the cross. Christ has power through the cross and that’s what we share through him and with him.

Chris you've inspired me. I've been digging into this quartz seam and I've found some pretty interesting specimens. Lots of small pyrite inclusions. However some of them look like they bright and shiny blue. Copper pyrite? Was wondering if you knew what would make pyrite turn blue?
copper pyrite (chalcopyrite) is brassy yellow. Whatever you have, I don't think the blue stuff is pyrite.

I've been wondering though about why quartz is used in watches... also been wondering why Nickola Tesla was fascinated by quartz saying it was a "living being". They are pretty, but there is def something else going on besides beauty and "hoping" they create "magic" in your life. I would love to read Tesla's note on quartz, and what he thought about it along with his idea of the secrets of the universe in understanding energy, frequency, and vibrations and it's relation to quartz.

Dr Masuri Emoto proved that words themselves, have the power to transform water crystals, water with words and thoughts , water with negative words formed ugly, mishappen crystals, the opposite with positive words like love etc formed perfect, beautiful water crystals.

If you want to ask a question, better to start a new thread, that way I see it for sure. If following on a longer thread - I may miss some of them. In any case, Look first with magnification to see if there is any visible gold. Check with a discriminating detector to see if its just iron minerals - gold will show as not iron. If good visible gold I'd saw it. If no real visible gold, I'd crack it with a hammer.

They are not experts in my opinion, but they are in some people's opinion.
@ChrisRalph but isn't it dangerous to acknowledge someone pretending to have expertise? I feel that letting certain practices and beliefs that make scientific claims based on unscientific evidence or belief is quite detrimental. We don't let doctors push unregulated unproven treatments; why do we let spiritualist or Homeopathy? As well, something you mentioned is that normally, these people who believe are usually in some sort of pain or loss and are being manipulated and taken advantage of. That again is harmful. People wasting money on stones and trinkets instead of getting the actual help they need.
I definitely think the actual experts like yourself on such things like geology are the ones best suited to combat the misinformation and potential risk. Which you obviously are. I just think it's dangerous to take a "well some people believe" approach to the topic. If it wasn't such a risk of harm to life, it wouldn't really matter what they believe. Also any hypothetical placebo is definitely overshadowed by the harm to society.

Friend - heat can indeed have beneficial health properties - I agree. Its not a mystical thing, its just medicine. That's why they have heating pads that radiate infra red heat - something we have now but the ancients did not, so they had to use rocks.
Sorry, but this is extremely disappointing. I find the whole crystal ‘healing’ thing so sad. People just ‘believe’, even though there is no evidence whatsoever. The danger though lies in people buying minerals that are very toxic, even radioactive, as I have seen many times. I thought this is what your video would be about. Instead you are just telling people to stop placing their faith in one belief and instead placing it in another - Christianity. Is Christianity any different from belief in the power of crystals? No, it is not. Please don’t use videos of mineralogy as a platform to preach your beliefs. If that’s what you intend to do, then give it an appropriate name. Disappointed, as your videos on minerals are usually very good. Stick to the subject and start another channel for pushing your beliefs on people.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy it. I am not planning to change what the channel is about - it will remain about mining, geology, prospecting and related topics. However, I did one video with a spiritual theme a little over a year ago, and now this one. I have done 216 videos, and two of them have spiritual themes - 2 in 200+ is not a large percentage. In general, the spiritual themed videos have been very well received - though there have been a few folks, like yourself, who objected.
Excellent and compassionate way of addressing this subject. If someone is hurting, seek help and support in the faith that feels right for you, its much better than beautiful rocks. ❤

Chris you do not know until you find the one that works on the frequency of your body maybe one out of 5000. You need to hold it between your fingers in the sun the right one you can feel it working .It felt like I was being charged .

Chris I could not find your comment s but I can tell you for certain that I thought Crystal's were all nonsense until I touched the one tuned into my body it completely shocked me .I was not looking for faith or healing or good things in my life from Crystal's. My son dropped the one that worked on me ever since I never had that experience again. My personal view is that they must work with the energy field in your body it is almost impossible to find one tuned into you. I personally depend on the Lord for all my needs, which he gracefully provides. I would say 1 in 10 000 would be tuned into your personal frequency. This is just my opinion based on my personal experience . I think this is just a natural process
