- Charge Blade is a weapon I used to despise back in 4U days. The cheer strength of the weapon along with its unmatched capacity to KO monsters effectively overshadowed my main weapon, Hammer.
That did not stop me from playing Hammer at all however, and then came XX with Valor Style, which actually managed to get me interested into Charge Blade.
Valor Charge Blade is basically the most unga bunga Charge Blade created. I think even pizza cutter CB doesn't get close to this.
Guard points and guarding in general is put to side for long dashes and fast transitions into your axe attacks, with a new, additional overhead axe attack.
I'm kinda rusty with Valor CB so this wasn't the absolute best showcase even I killed it stupidly fast especially with the goddamn awful small monsters of GU, but I unga bunga'd well on unga bunga: the monster himself, Uragaan.
Uragaan's a monster I unironically like, even Crystalbeard Uragaan is actually one of my favorite fights in GU, a monstruosity at EX level that set lobbies on fire due to how annoying it is to fight for everyone else, but personally, and especially with Valor CB, I learned to love that fight.
Regular Uragaan actually has a decent and unique moveset, and the idea of a Brute Wyvern with a comically developed head and tail to attack since it cannot use its front limbs is something I really like.
Full gunner Seltas Queen armor is so fucking good I need this baby back 🥹

The infinite discharge combo from Valor CB was so good. I'm kinda disappointed it wasn't brought back for World nor Rise. In Sunbreak you can do something similar with Ready stance cancelling, but it doesn't feel the same.
3 Things:
I freaking love the impact hit effects of XX and older MH Games. It's so Beefy.
I miss when charge blade actually took a few seconds to charge and make its Explosive attacks. SunRise playstyle isn't bad per se but the rapid use of the Elemental Discharge does make it feel less like a finisher and more like a jab lol.
And finally, do you main Dry Bowser in Mario Kart?
I main Bowser in pretty much any game he's playable in, Bowser is my favorite fictional character of all time.
I always make my palicos look like Dry Bowser and Bowser (but more of its original green appearance), hence the names "Dry" and "Bowser".

This is recorded on Ryujinx, on which a 120FPS and 4K textures mod for MHGU can be used
2:10 ah I see you got the same bug as me. I don't know if it's a bug in the base game or only on emulator, but uroktor bury attack don't complete its animation, but the hitbox is still there. Instead it goes back to idle animation as soon as it exits the ground. It's annoying because you can't tell how long the hitbox lasts.
Definitely an emulator issue

Quick question, how are you able to transmog gunner armor even while playing as blademaster?
I ask as I too want to use the gunner seltas armor.
This is only possible using the MHGU save editor on PC.

@@Danitron904 Yes, it's an app you can find on Internet, to use with "PC" versions of Mhgu on Switch emulators such as Ryujinx
