Morning Bible Devotion: Psalm 119

Psalm 119 (Shin): Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm (twice the length of the next longest Psalm) and the longest chapter in the bible. It is composed of 22 sections with each section speaking eight verses. They are composed acrostically, meaning following the Hebrew alphabet. These 22 sections are in no particular order but can be considered as pearls on a necklace. Each is integral to the necklace but a beautiful component by themselves. This entire Psalm is about the Word of GOD and how important scripture is.
Shin: Verses 160-168 is the 21st section of Psalm 119. This is a beautiful section that has just praise, no prayer requests. It speaks to the power of the Word and the truth of it.
