Apache Fire: More than a dozen structures destroyed by Butte County wildfire

  • Crews have made significant progress in halting a Butte County wildfire that quickly spread and forced evacuations. The Apache Fire sparked at 7:21 p.m. Monday at Apache Hill Road and Cresmont Drive, according to Cal Fire. The fire has left one firefighter injured, destroyed 14 structures and damaged two more structures.
