On Wednesday January 12th, I took a trip to Waterside Arts in Sale, Manchester, where I got a chance to explore the wonders of a special exhibition of Postman Pat and his friends in Greendale. It was a magical sight of seeing many TV props, character models and buildings used in the show.

That must have been fun to go to. Lots of models from the series. I didn't expect to see the picture from 'Count Duckula' there, that was a surprise.
That was really good, I really like Postman Pat a lot. I'm so glad to see the props from the series and I think the people who organized the exhibition did a splendid job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks Awesome! So happy they werent Destroyed
Wasn’t expecting props from Series 1-2
At least now I know that the Postman Pat props are preserved.
I love it. From start to finish. 🙂
Did u know that John Cunliffe the writer for Postman Pat, also presented Rosie and Jim as well???? Xxxx
Wish I could go there. I would love to see the stop-motion props.
I was there on Thursday and I had a great time seeing the props upclose.
7:10 oh yes the famous pump trolley that was used by Ajay and Mr Pringle to try and catch up with the runaway train to save the Reverend Timms
Oh yeah I remember that episode XD
Mi hijo tiene un año y ama la serie de Pat nos encanta ver las aventuras de Pat y Jess mi personaje favorito y de mi hijo es Jess 😂
Amazing
A mate of mine went to an exhibition like this, but it was one to celebrate 100 years of the bbc, and it had puppets from various children's programs
5:37 fun fact the pump wagon we see behind the Greendale Rocket was actually heavily modified for some episodes to be portrayed as a flatbed truck
19:15 Sam Waldron and George Langcaster two characters very young children will have no idea who they are
I'm glad these did not meet Stepney's fate (personally i believe Drayton Manor threw him out)
It's a shame that the rest of the models where unfortunately scrapped
That's nice lad I've seen this on anyone else's films.
Nicely filmed. Well done 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh remember when I went to this exhibit
Can you upload Postman Pat wearing a square hat with frills coming down in a pinkie red band outfit playing the Tuba standing in a green field singing I will put up this lovely salher please?
You can always find the episode on UA-cam - that should help.
@@SmurfyDan1991 The only version there is of Postman Pat and the Tuba is the original Proper sound song. But there is another version of Postman Pat dozing of at a tree playing the Tuba in a band. This is the same version of the Proper sound song but old Postman Pat is wearing a square hat with frills coming down in a pinkie red band outfit Postman Pat sings about the old days about the Greendale brass band. When Pat twirls around in a a dance the frills of his hair coming down from his pinkie red with yellow stripes square hat twirl everywhere making a scratchy sound as Pat sings Greendale use to make music for the Fate. At the end Postman Pat sings I will put up this lovely salher.
Fantastic video. Excellent camerawork and editing.
