Adjust the snail opening to face downward. Over time, it will collect water (condensation, moisture, rain, etc.) and should be allowed to drain easily.

Feel like I'm not far behind ya hahaha. When I had my bumper off ( watched your video for removal ) to install the LEDs around the foglights, I saw those tiny horns and went ..Yep...I should replace those someday.. And 2 weeks later, Here you are like Yo!! I replaced the horn! And now I'm sitting here like aaaaaaaaaaa I should redo the wiring ( Got water proof connectors now ) for the fog leds and while things are off..consider the horns!
I went with that "Ebay lip" You did long ago. Matte black on mine. Hoping the screws that went into the bumper doesnt require me to unscrew them when I want to remove the bumper. But, Will see I guess! haha
That's how it usually happens...lol! You'll be a pro like me removing the bumper 😂 You don't need to remove the lip to take the bumper off, your good!

I checked for a new video this morning and was disappointed, just saw this now. No more wimpy Honda meep meep anymore. Almost as good as a truck horn. And definitely will be unexpected from a Civic, and certainly much more audible and attention grabbing, especially if you need it in high noise environments.
Probably one of the best, fastest, easiest and very affordable, functional upgrade that is well worth it.
I am definitely getting a set. I am pretty sure it will fit the HR-V as well, since it uses lots of Civic based parts where practical.
*Yousy want to turn the other horn downward a bit, so water don't get into it or not drain out. I bet you want to put a set in your Type R now. 😏
I don't think water will be an issue, there both protected really well. I'll check next time I have the bumper off. I'm sure it won't be too long til I do it again...lol! I definitely need to get a set for the "R" now!
@@717PROJECT I read that it'svwaterproof, but still might not want watter sitting in there if it csn, insteadvof draining out. I saw that the horns are sold out. They are German car horns made by Bosch. No wonder they are so loud.

you should have mounted the bottom horn the same way it was from factory..they do that for a reason, so water doesn’t get into it when driving in rain and muffle it.
I'll have the bumper off again here in a week or 2. I'll see if any water gets in there. I think it will be OK! Both are protected by the bumper and inner fender liner pretty well.

@@717PROJECT No. My Mack semi truck's small electric horn is broken. The chord these honda horns play matches my Mack's twin air horns on the roof! Haha.
Semi trucks have the air horns on the roof for making a statement in traffic, but they also have a standard automobile electric toot horn for getting people's attention on the yard or pulling forward in a parking lot or somebody standing in the way or whatever.
