Ya'll don't understand. I've followed Aaron's story since 2009. I found it while I was deployed and it really helped pass the days. 13 years later, I'm 35. That's more than 1/3 of my life. I knew this day would come eventually. To say it is bittersweet would be a massive understatement. Good luck Danny, we could ask for nothing more. Your portrayal of Aaron is easily one of the best in soap history and he will be missed. Cheers mate.
Gonna miss him. They had no clue what to do with him after Ryan left. Sidenote: Children moving away is not unusual and he can always visit and call. Chas wanting him to stay shouldn't be that big of a deal. I'd encourage him to go.

Sadly, the actor said he’s done with the show (just like his other actor the person who played Robert). Neither will be returning to the show. If they do decide to bring either back, they’d use different people to play them. Although I do hope they could bring a couple in that could replace the gay chemistry Aaron and Robert had.
The end of a monumental career in Emmerdale .... so many unforgettable moments and such a great actor. The legacy of Aaron and Robert lives on in our memories and in the folklore of Soaps, unlikely to ever be equalled or surpassed. Watching Aaron grow up before our eyes from a young kid of 17 to the end, and watching him cry was so remarkable and intense that you couldn't take your eyes off him and couldn't stop your own tears welling up. Certainly Danny Miller/ Aaron has given me more enjoyment than any other gay story line and he's such a good actor to have made his character so believable over so many years, when Danny is not even gay! Love you always Aaron.
Aaron smiling as he drives away is the best thing about this exit. I hope he comes back one day and I think he will. This was the best thing for his character and if ive understood it correctly, the best thing for Danny. I hope when he comes back he gets some happy storylines

13 years ago, Aaron returned to the village, a boy on a bike. Now 13 years later, he left the village, a man in a car. He grew up so much throughout his years in the village. Sad to see him go. But he will return. One day.
I'm just gonna pretend the last two years didn't happen and that they're in France, Robert messing about with the veg patch whilst Aaron sips his Cote du Rhone. Then Luke gets banged up and they return to better times and storylines.

Strange ending. No scene or goodbye with Paddy, the first person to be there for Aaron and believe in him, a father figure. Very sad last scene between Aaron and Liv. No reconciliation. They had a lovely relationship and great chemistry until Emmerdale ruined it with Livs alcohol storyline. Aaron didn't even stick around to find out what actually happened to Ben or attend his funeral. Meena's eventual downfall will be that little less sweet without Aaron around as a witness.
I agree, Shane. Paddy should have been there for an emotional good bye. He was there for Aaron and was a father figure in his life. Strange that didn't transpire.
Why did they stop writing for Aaron properly after Robert left? That makes absolutely no sense. They should have been writing for Aaron twice as much after that. There would have been soooooooooo many things and avenues and storylines they could have written for him. How can they let their award-winning, lauded lead actor just linger in the background with nothing substantial to do like this?
Who else is completely heartbroken and in tears, But, completely understand what Aaron is doing and why. But, also giving us an opening he/Adam are not shutting a return out. But, like he can't stay, I can't deal with the show right now knowing he won't be a future episodes. Will just follow him and daisy and Albert online.
They need to redo this exit scene and add Paddy. I don't get how Dominic wasn't called in for this scene?? He's basically Aaron's dad. Cain, Chas, and Paddy, and Liv are the characters he is closest with.
I thought something like this was going to happen when Robert was written out. They had no storyline for Aaron post Robert and for the longest time he has played a minor role. So long Emmerdale let me know when Aaron and Robert come back. Does anyone know if the people at ITV read the UA-cam comments? If not, they should.
These newer writers have been doing a lot of damage to Emmerdale and they've been losing some of their best characters. Diane, Aaron this year. Lisa, Pete, Graham, following year. And I'm not very fond of the new characters besides probably Charles. I dont think they have the best batch of young actors either. Aaron/Adam/Victoria/Holly were such a good generation of characters that grew up together and I dont think they have a group nearly as strong . Noah only hangs out with his sister and this random new girl. Vinny doesnt have a storyline that doesn't revolve around Liv. And Gabby has been thrusted away from the rest of the village & only has storylines around Homefarm now. They need to get new writers badly to clean up some of this mess, and make the newbies like Ethan, Chole WAY more interesting. Danny left at a good time. His character became a minor one when he's the best actor in the cast.
I loved the storyline of Aaron being a year younger than the character I grew up at the same time it got me hooked on the show but after Robert left its like they didn't know what to do with Aaron's character and it showed . Then I just found it hard to watch and stopped
Aaron is going to be with Adam, the first man he tried to kiss, the man who dragged him out of the closet, the man he always loved. Fair enough. Aaron became a gray character after the scenes with Robert . The writers lost all creativity with him. Sad departure.
This was a really bitter exit and I'm hoping not the end for Aaron. No goodbye with Paddy, his whole world collapsing and destroying his relationship with Liv in his last episode as she's facing a charge for a murder she didn't commit. The writers haven't ruined the character or anything, but if this is actually supposed to be a permanent exit then they've really done him a disservice here.

I've done that several times now. I dont watch emmerdale, but I often watch and re watch JUST Aaron's storyline. I might just start from the beginning again too 👍

Aaron had never stopped loving Robert nor gotten over losing him. Just living his life going through the motions of moving on. Pipe dream I know, but it would be amazing if eventually Robert got released early due to the new evidence and Aaron came back to reclaim his man, admitting that he was a horrible husband for giving up on Robert without a fight. Robert would never had given up on Aaron, possibly would of had child #2 during Aaron’s prison stint but he wouldn’t have given up on him.
I feel sorry for aaron after Robert asked aaron for a divorce ben gave aaron a 2nd chance after aaron bullied him when they were kids & they ended up dating & then ben is killed by a psychopath & I like that when aaron was leaving the village he played the song take me on I think that was Aaron's way of remembering ben
