Rain Gardens, Flood Prevention and Drone Assessment of Elevations Flood Mitigation and Planning

In this video we show the drone mapping tools which can help detect flood plains and low lying areas prone to flood waters. We also show an updated video of a residential project handle the BC flood waters in November 2021. Video footage shows the heavy rain at the peak of the first BC Atmospheric river. Fortunately, we installed flood protection in the way of a rain garden in a flood prone backyard which had migrated to the house in times past.
Flooding of a home or property is one of the worst natural disasters to affect someone.
With any flood risk there are 3 main questions concerning prevention:
1: Is you property at risk or does it have any flood mitigation or engineering? Does your home or property have adequate drains or ditches to manage overflows and water?
2: Where are the flood water expected to come from and end up?

Excellent video. I see the line of water to the street, by the wooden fence and the telephone pole is established and carries a lot of water. The first video you made about this property did not have the established line of water. Seems like you could line the bottom of the line with stones to prevent erosion and direct/contain the water as well.
