Ameritron 811 repair

Here I show the repair of a ameritron 811 amplifier
Customer supplied a new set of 572b tubes per my advice.
Forgot to add that one socket required compressing the filament pin connections. As with new tube plugged in filament was night lighting.

When I pulled the old 811s out the metal plate cap came off the tubes. The caps had become seized (heat) in the ceramic cap holder. I tried to disconnect them very carefully, but they were stuck. Have you ever encountered this problem ? Is there anything that can be done to prevent this in the future?

Clips inside the anode cap need to be adjusted
Was on the anode to tight.
When I encounter this , I rock ever so slowly like a see saw direction. You cannot twist like a clock.

I have a 811 Amertron (3 tube) and it started blowing the two 20 amp fuses. I thought it probably had a shorted tube. I don't have a tube tester, so I replace all 3 tubes. The amp came up to the 60 ma idle plate current and everything seemed ok. I made one short contact with it after about 5 minutes the fan turned off. Of course this means the amp turned off. I wasn't transmitting or anything. It had blown both the 20 amp fuses again. Looks like I replaced the tubes for nothing. Any suggestions for starting to troubleshoot this amp?

20 amp fuses ? If so do not turn on again until you put the proper size fuse in. Should be a 12 amp if wired for 120

My mistake, they are 12 amp fuses.
