is it 8 ohms like this? so does that mean the individual drivers are 16 ohms or 8 ohms? just wondering if I get some does my amp need to load down to 8 ohms or 4 ohms?
What amplifier would you recommend for running these? I'm looking for something sort of small and cheap, but still performs as well as the higher end stuff.
Chris, I’m looking to buy some theme park quality outdoor speakers and would love to to get in touch with you for your recommendations based on my goals. What’s the best way to email you?
then how do you use one i thought two of it is inused and ohh yeah i rememeber that you sah you will use one outside and what are you gonna do to the other bollard one?
Nolman0001 where could i find the connector that use for red and black and white and black? And could i use a basic speaker wire runned with a RCA Jack because i was planning it and buy myself a 1 bollard speaker and there is a one speaker like this which is tall
+BollardSpeaker 26 The connectors (known as terminal blocks) can be purchased at most electronic stores. As for the wire, just about any type of speaker wire can be used, but direct-burial cable is recommended for outdoor areas to ensure longevity. Remember, these speakers need an amplifier to operate, so connecting the speaker directly to a device via RCA won't work (if that's what you're implying).
Nolman0001 i don't get well could i wired it with a tape or wire nut like twisting the two wires together and ohh yeah we have a stereo system which is i will used for this speaker (component speaker system) could that suit's and Nolman0001 i amplified a rca used satellite speaker with a another speaker would that work?
+BollardSpeaker 26 You could just twist and tape the wires together or use a wire nut and that would work fine. Your component speaker system would probably be enough to drive these speakers. However, the speaker may not perform as well if underpowered (an amp rated for 50W RMS is probably around the minimum requirement for decent volume). But still, the component speaker system should do okay!
I have an old (and abused) JBL Control 23 taken from my work. The original drivers were blown when I received it, but I have since replaced all the drivers and the internal crossover network. I do like JBL products and I hope I can get some more gear from them in the future.

Might I ask, "How do get speakers from work?"
I'm a sound engineer and was working at a venue where they weren't needed anymore and were going to be thrown away. So I offered to take them.
Could you maybe show off that jbl in a video if possible?
Sure! I was planning on making a video on it anyway.
More space 📢 :D
