Honestly this is my favorite episode/scenes of them two together… when Carla goes to the police station to find Lisa… waiting for her, asking her to talk about their moment… how harsh and honest Lisa was (putting her walls up to what she assumes could be a confused straight woman)- like haven’t we all been there risking our heart for woman who might be straight, who can eventually hurt us … the confusion and sadness Carla experienced throughout the conversation, she didnt know where she wanted the conversation to go but then when Lisa clipped her wings she went back to friendship. The bar scene avoiding her because she now realizes that its something different, there might be something more (probably why they made it a point to have Sean say how she had been down all day at work) then to fully opening up to Ryan about how she feels and how she was shut down… she probably wanted Lisa to acknowledge theres more, to then have Ryan comfort/reassure her its not a big deal, helping her be seen. I love it. I feel like we’ve all been here. Or its just how I identify with these scenes 😅🥰
@ so genuinely interested in your POV. I didn’t really see it like that. Love to know your perspective as to how you mean manipulate? The night before Carla was almost flirting with Lisa, and asked her about dating around and being casual with anyone. I saw it more as in Lisa having a daughter, and potentially involving herself with someone that might just be lonely, that wants a random casual adventure with a lesbian because she just got divorced. While, Lisa was honest the night before and said she cant do casual because she gets easily involved. Carla went to talk but wasn’t forthright about her intentions because she didn’t know herself what she wanted until Lisa shut her down. I feel like if Carla wouldn’t have stuttered, Lisa wouldn’t have made the comment… but lol I’m biased because I’ve been in Lisa’s shoes and done exactly what she did, except I dont have kids😂 not arguing💕 genuinely curious about your thoughts
LOL! Laughed my @r$e off at Ryan's, "Or Vera. Who doesn't love a female copper?" BWAHAHAHA! My cousin's wife is a police officer and she quite often answers her phone, " 'ello, 'ello, 'ello?" Drives her mother in law insane, who doesn't like the police anyway. She nearly had a conniption when she learned she'd applied to the police for a job. But COVID times and all of that. A job's a job. The police generally aren't well-liked in their neck of the woods (Glasgow.) Nice to see a positive portrayal (sometimes) on Corrie.

I get all that. Lisa could have been open though rather than manipulate the situation by saying you straight bird's

@@alisonselway5740I was referring to Carla's comment at 6:30
I love her😂❤️.
Pay attention to the song playing in the background when Lisa is dithering over sending the text……….
She told Lisa not to swerve her & now she's doing the exact same thing to Lisa.😢😢😢
'Sometimes' by Erasure, chart hit back in 1986.
Didn't take Ryan to work out something happened between Carla & Lisa.❤️❤️❤️
" i know what it's like to be a women" - Carla
