4:47 if I had a nickel for every time Chopper being tied to a hat is the funniest thing ever, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's great that it happens twice.
I think one of the things that falls by the wayside on this arc is Luffy's growth as a captain. There's so many big elements of this story that just come at you hard and fast, that it took me a couple of rereads to really appreciate that Luffy starts this arc trying so hard to protect his friends that he inadvertently pushes Usopp away from the crew, and ends it by trusting his friends to save Robin and save themselves. He learns to delegate the responsibility of being a pirate to the people under him.
Gear 2: vains+ blood. He boated his heart rate and continues blood supply though his body that's why his body temp goes up. Gear 3 : bone+ air. He basically add air in his bones that's why his hand gets big.
If any of y'all are wondering about the loose ends of CP9, it's a good time to start spreading the word that CP9 got an entire cover story after Enies Lobby that *never* gets covered in the anime, not even as a quick summary.
@@nerdydaily they don't get as much as viewership as regular episodes though due to lack of strawhats screen times. that's why they stop animating cover stories.
I seen people irl whos body is steaming like gear 2 on a colder day outside when they do exercise. Pumping blood that fast, i would assume his blood gets hot from that, and so to me the steam makes sense. If his entire body is rubber, gear 3 is inflating his bones. Hardest part of you gets inflated , more damage. He drank so much water vs Croc, he eats so much , i can believe he can inflate himself that much. You are not going to find 100% logic but its close enough to me to say yep this fine.
the luffy versus Lucci fight was to me the best anime fight ever made for a good many years. to this day this fight is just peak. it's awesome, all the emotions and weight of what's on the line, luffy having to overcome his own limits again and again, Lucci pulling tricks out of his sleeve. Just all around one of the best ever done
His third gear is bone balloon So he bites his thumb break the bone and inflate his bones with air It's cartoony but it's one piece you are far of from how cartoony it can get
luffy stole the 6 paths to make his own shit. but ussope literally stole their whole design by playing as sniper king. like a big punch in the mouth to their organization lol.
Luffy's fruit may as well be the Toon Toon fruit for how much it relies on rule of toon rather than actual science. According to rule of toon, big equals strong, and therefore being giant-sized means being giant strong. It's the same reason that the backlash Chimney mentioned is "become tiny" rather than "become weak", because according to Luffy's toon-style thinking shrinking should be the balance to growing, rather than the scientifically more sound flimsiness being the aftermath of overinflation.
18:18 its like a tire. The air gets so compresssed that its practicaly solid.

It's 5 Vice Admirals and 10 battleships
Gear 2: vains+ blood.
He boated his heart rate and continues blood supply though his body that's why his body temp goes up.
Gear 3 : bone+ air.
He basically add air in his bones that's why his hand gets big.
Luffy's attack name gives a hint of how gear 3 works: he's not just inflating his arms, but actually his bones.
of course he is an inflatable rubber man. He has used gomu gomu no baloon where he bounces of cannon balls many times.
Lol, so true. xD
That final shot of luffys giant fist busting out of the building is such a KINO frame

Given all the filler in one piece I’m surprised they never made more cover stories into episodds
@@nerdydaily Filler has Straw Hats though. Cover stories don't. Probably that's why.

Luffy growing as a captain by not going to save his crew and trusting them, it's great to see

Gear 3rd inflates his bone which bulks up his muscles as well
Gear 3rd leg!
Don't pretend that makes sense.
He inflates his bones, it's the bone baloon
I love going back and rewatching all this with you having the information I have now from being caught up.

You're at the absolute apex peak of the water 7 / enies lobby saga now. Every episode from here on out will be an absolute banger.
When Sanji saves Sogeking from Jabra he calls him Usopp after the speech.

Luffys physical strength is hidden by his rubber body.
303 boss luffy ep was due to golden week in april '07, iirc :3
Thats Tom&Jerry reference where Jerry blows his thumb to get a big fist and punsh Tom.
Gommu gommu no? 🤔

Day 12 of asking you to react to the apothecary diaries!
the principle of Luffy's devil fruit is very deep to its real origins

What happened to 300 and 301. The video isn't showing up for me
It's still a member exclusive so it's before 299 in the video list
@thomaes751 ty, I found it. I forgot to remove this comment lol
Luffy truly just works on cartoon logic and I love it
Nerdy skipped the Foxy filler episode, nooooo 🥲😪😭
