    Thank you. First dish I have made that my brother approves of. Only mistake I made was assuming "seedless" tamarind meant seedless..I had some unfortunate bites. Next time I will try to make with less hemp seeds so I can eat even more before getting full!

      Awww such a pleasure, yikes that is frustrating with the tamarind hey, I have done the same! What I typically do is place the tamarind in a nutmilk bag and massage it in the sauce before thickened. Works well to use more tamarind or sundried tomatoes in place of the hemp!🙌🏼

      @@KnowYourProduce Indeed I was told by a insider in the company the same. That said I know John Kohler (link in my Vacuum blender videos) sells a craft container that fits on the vitamix and what I am trying to do is use my existing vitamix container and fit a special top and pump to make it a vacuum. I already have done this but its not as quality as I know it can get so i am going to play with it more and share once satisfied.

    As a food combining advocate, how do you feel about mixing dates(sugars) with hemp seeds(fats)?

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  4 роки тому +2

      I have a few videos on this exact subject that go a lot deeper, some short notes, it’s what we do most of the time that has the most profound effect, food combining isn’t black and white meaning there is some grey, a little bit of fat with some sweet (like durian) digests well and is very different from a 50/50 date fat combo.
      I feel great having a recipe like this from time to time but wouldn’t every day nor recommend it every day for someone with blood sugar issues or candida.

      @@TheRawAdvantage Will this recipe still taste good without the dates or is there a substitute for the dates if someone has blood sugar issues?

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  3 роки тому

      @@lareinelester685 it really wouldn’t be the same recipe, if anything I would take out the hemp seeds and that way it will be more streamlined. The dates with that many veggies should slow the absorption quite a lot and not pose issues. If it still did I would instead focus on correcting the root cause of the issue and improve insulin sensitivity. If you haven’t checked out the work of Robby n Dr Cyrus at MasteringDiabetes.org I highly recommend it. Surest way to improve insulin function and reverse insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and pre diabetes.

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  4 роки тому

      Most high powered blenders are pretty noisy, I even know people who wear blender ear muffs! Indeed the vitamix is the same or a bit louder, the only ones I know that are quoted have a noise shield like the commercial vitamix and blendtec.

Assuming you want to gain healthy muscle mass, If so one simply needs eat adequate calories from whole foods, fruit greens and whole fats if raw and cooked tubers / squash / quinoa / lentils / greens / fruit / whole fats if cooked is included, and push oneself with strength training / exercises, allowing for adequate recovery sleep etc.
