Been thinking a lot about this fragrance too. It’s fantastic and as always it gives me anxiety to try to describe the fragrances I love like this one. Thankfully you’ve done a great job, and love your description of the pear note/accord. But, I definitely get buttery orris root, kind of earthy and rooty (word?) and almost squeaky at times. I might be looking for that note as I love it in fragrances. Totally agree with you about the smooth elegance and so beautiful for Autumn!

I didn’t get much pear personally but it remind me of Breath of God by Lush which inspired by a similar part of the world.

Hey Chris really enjoyed this vid and was hoping ud review Bukhara soon as well. I got a sample and its def unique and interesting. When looking at the pics on the Gallivant website the fragrance really does give me a feeling of like the white and blue clayish looking buildings and clean streets. Only 2 wesrings so far and I've found with Gallivant I discover more as I wear them which is great, I want to pick up the pear as u do and the apricot as well ive gotten mostly the orris/iris and spices like saffron and clean musk but really enjoy it. Thanks for the awesome video. Hope all is well.

Always enjoy your outside videos. Look like an interesting fragrance. Would also be great to see you review some of Aaron Terrance Hughes' fragrances as reviews on his reformulations are nonexistent on UA-cam.
Cheers Chris, think nick does a great job with the galivant line. I find the first wearing is a little ok but then the second is more of a ooo this is interesting and then after the 3rd your hooked and think how clever they are

Hello! For me it's a very realistic smell of grated fresh carrot (its slightly green bitter part close to carrot tops). The others tell that orris roots give such smell. But now when you talk about pears - yep, its similar too :))) Ordered the discovery set from Nick, his personal attention to customers is just amazing !!!

I am from Bukhara. I was very happy to see the video about this perfume. I will definitely try it. But my favorite perfumes. This is Voyage D'Hermes Edt and Voyage D'Hermes Parfum.I recommend you see.
As usual, awesome video. Love the cinematography, music, editing, everything about this video is gorgeous. Fragrance sounds amazing too. Will have to check this out. By the way, saw your pun regarding the mushroom (loved that shot by the way...fun guy lol). Puns are awesome. You know the difference between a hippo and a zippo? One is really heavy, and the other is just a little lighter. Be well, m8. 👍

Interesting video for someone like me who has yet to try the house.
Idt they make it anymore, but I bought an perfume oil from a small company called "Solstice Scents" called Foxcroft. It smells exactly like a forrest in Autumn. Soil, fallen leaves, and a bit of cinnamon. I turned it into an EDP so it would last longer. Like putting water in your soap bottle.
