Absolute poetry...."....be my undoin...my slow road to ruin...." My God...How beautifully to express such a subtle and poignant perspective. If talent were rewarded with money these guys could buy Microsoft with their tips.

Only those who have been (un)fortunate enough to have had a relationship like this can begin to understand the genius in Del Amitri's songs, and this one in particular.
saw these guys in a small venue in London in the 80's. they deserved more recognition than they got!!

Whatever else they did, or might still do, this track was and always will be the Dels’ finest hour. Awesome.
Every song on this album was masterful - which, in my view, was Del Amitri's finest. This song sits in a special place in my heart.

This has brought back so many things - it's amazing the power of a good song to take you back to a time and a place you thought had gone forever. Loved it then, love it now.
Saw them 3 times the best being Cardiff’s students Union in 1989 the same s**t different town tour a great little venue and fantastic performance from the dels!!!
Totally agree - don't understand why they and this song never got more play here in the US.
