Imagine living for a 1000 years, perfecting your fighting skills for thousands of hours and then being killed by some orc who was born 2 months ago
Rhûn is a human faction that has been thoroughly corrupted by the Morgoth"s cult. There is an entire plot line parallel to the war of the ring with the "rise of the Khan" causing a civil war between the morgoth's cult of Rhûn and the Khan's rebellion trying to break the grasp of Sauron on their people.
Harad were nomadic desert people living South which were colonised by Gondor in the early parts of the Third Age, causing a lot of drastic changes in their culture.
Between the constant unrest, hostile climate and dangerous beasts, Gondor ended up abandoning the place, leaving it in a very unstable state. Sauron took advantage of the situation (and of their Hate for Gondor) and corrupted them, making them loyal semi-slaves to his armies.
That's the bit of Lore to answer your question at the start ^^
(Edit : corrected a couple spelling mistakes, don't mind it ^^)
believe after the war of the ring you could argue that they eventually both turned around (rhun and harad) but that's mostly speculation as tolkein had the indecency of dying before telling anyone
The weirdest elves are probably the dark elves from the elder scrolls, they ride bugs, eat bugs, wear bugs, mine bug eggs and have a lot of weird customs
So random in comparison but I get you. Very strange indeed. Do you think the LOTR elves ate bugs and bark? Raises a pondering question on diet. Lol😅
Apollo calling the elf bow murder racist had me dying holy smokes 😂
“Actually I’ve never read books…what am I doing?” Hahaha I’ve been laughing over this for the last five minutes.
I never watched through the lotr trilogy but your videos made me give it a go and Im amazed at how good those movies are🔥🔥🔥 Love all your seige battles!!!!
Good commentary Apollo!!!
I love stream-of-consciousness Apollo commentary
I was desperately waiting on apollo to see the cavalry going for the bowman while talking about the army sizes! "THE CAV APOLLO LOOK".
Will Ferrell’s version is the strangest yet also the best rendition ever
pretty cool.
I have discovered this Chanel just recently, have been watching a lot of your old videos.
God I’ve missed these lord of the rings battles so much when you post them I get so happy
the bad commentary makes the video 10/10 better lol
Hi pixelated Apollo! I’m loving the great lord of the rings videos
The weirdest elf is the one that talks to me At night
i found the elves in eragon really strange, like the have a code of formal gestures tha seems the english nobility
Good old occassional middle earth battles from pixelated Apollo!
This battle was fun to play in lol My allies kinda goofed the attack when the cav sallied out tho we all did awesome commentary really cool to see the games we play end up here i love it
20:58 Snookys hair hhh
Love this mod, more battles please x)
do u have a lighting mod? looks really good almost thought it was rome
The machine elves from DMT trips are definetly the weirdest
dnd elves are the strangest especialy when you get into their dieties.
Some how no matter what he posts I love it
"Two very different people though, very different people."
It would be awesome if there’s a mod for Aragorn as a general with the ghost army sure they can still be killed but awesome to see
The orc army forgot to eat before this battle.
Strangest elves? Warhammer 40k harlequins no competition. Terrifying half mad clown elves nah nah not for me
I've been playing Divide and Conquer again, i to love LOTR lore vids
I think that the weirdest elves are the Icelandic Christmas elves 😂
is the campaign map out yet for this?
also love youuuuu!
Is it hard to get and install this mod? I've never used mods and am really interested in this
The Elder Scrolls elves are definitely the most unique. The Falmer in particular are pretty wild looking.
Laughing at the “don’t judge me guys but I do like Harry Potter and golf” those are very normal things to like but I could see the hardcore gamer world finding something wrong with that.
Does anyone know the name of this map they are using it looks so good
You are so under rated 👍
What mods used for this
10:09 how could you tell i was judging 🤭
@Pixelated Apollo you should do a golf run with a group of your inner circle and let us watch the battle of strokes
Immortality doesn't mean you have infinite memory, you'd probably forget way, way more than you could ever know as an immortal.
FINALY somme lord of the rings !!!!!!!!!! Thanks Apollo
Where can I buy this game?
Hi
Cookie elves are by far the most unsettling ...
The strangest "elves" would probably be the Falmer (From The Elder scrolls 5)
Been watching you since 2015 and its Sad that you haven't reached 1m yet😢
elder from 40k are my favorite type of elves
10:50 About immortal and so good at everything with elves. Cause there is this very known separetion between people loving elves or dwarves, and the people who hate elves are like "The elves are cawards, just hiding and shooting arrows from the distance". And here I think the immortal part explaines so good why elves use bows, cause since every life is infinite (and cause of that there is alos no need for fast growing population) fight in line in melee is to riski if not neccesary and every elven death in terms of lost qaulity is equal to thousands of humans so if it's possible to shoot someone form distance it's better.
I guess it's pretty obvious thing but I just thought about it for a while recently and it just makes so much sense when you realize that.
That was a genocide against Isengard.
im the same with lotr lore
What game is this?
Yea. Respectfully, this battle was definitely a show of elven might but more a display of weird decision making more than anything.
whats the base game???
I came for epic battle, i left with the Harry potter theories... -_- :)
Id have to say the elves from Eragon are strange. magical, heavily asian-inspired (at least how i pictured), and some not even humanoid any more
I hate asling creators to do things, but when the mod fully releases, are you planning a play through with the different factions?
I dont know about strangest, but the best elves are BIlly and Mandy elves
In ANNY kind of siege game you posted, you always said , "the worst place to attack a settlement are the gates" probably 1000 times you said it and still they do it 🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔
Is this MWB 2? It looks TW but pretty cool :i
Nice
Is this Attila or Thrones of Britannia modded
@@TheDawnlessDays no way the modders created Thrones type of siege map. That’s insane
Rhun and Harad are the Orcs and Goblin version of Men
The elfs from hellboy are weird
Harad would never join with the elves hahaha theyve been under the spell of Sauron and Morgoth before him for like 6000+ years
LOTR content. More please.
Hentai elves or the 1% super degenerate elves in anime or 30K elves in Warhammer Space or WH40K. Especially dark elves in fantasy and 40K.
Can you make more bandelord videos
Did you say Isengard stan?
If so what is that?
Reeee
Can you please play third war lord of the rings I miss it 😪
I think you judge yourself for the both of us. Witch works 'cuse I am lazy about such things.
bbapo
Were u high on that battle?? Wtf
Bring back 3rd age
I hate the elves from the Witcher series and Elder Scrolls. Such a'holes. Dark Eldar from Warhammer 40k are crazy but I don't know if that's what you're after.
Almost as bad as drachenlord...
nice battle. weird commentary.
Dude harry potter is good... dont you dare be embarassed
Ugh maybe it's just me but I just really hate Rome 2's lighting system. Even in direct sunlight all the units are dark and shadowy as if they're absorbing light. :\
@@PixelatedApollo1 Both in that case, since I'm pretty sure Rome 2 has the same lighting.
This is racist 😂
love the videosm but you tend to forget the battle and start talking total nonsense
Boring battle attackers sucked
bro you've gotta delete this channel after that nordalin, imladris mishap. What were you even saying
Tolkien lore videos are awful. Sincerely... Read the books. When those videos don't get things wrong, they explain things in a vague way, so they can always put another video out
In canon, the men of the east and south are not inherently evil, but both have been under the sway of Sauron for a long time when the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy begin. This is especially true of the east, where Sauron went into hiding on multiple occasions over millennia, deeply entrenching the worship of Morgoth in the region. Both Rhun and Harad are long-time enemies of the the men of the west, and the kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan in particular. So even for those who weren't necessarily followers of Sauron, it was easy to justify an alliance with Mordor since it provided the opportunity to get back at their traditional enemies. After the ring is destroyed and Sauron defeated, King Aragorn brokers a peace treaty with Harad, but fighting continues for some time in the east, with Kings Aragorn and Eomer campaigning together against the Easterlings for years. It goes to show that these men were just as complex as any others, with some choosing to make peace and even cooperate to an extent with their old enemies, while others continued to fight bitterly without Sauron's influence.
