@@kelminescalera5198 his UA-cam name is Paladin Ryu. He streams like 3 times a week. He gives out tips, and interacts with his subs. Many don’t know he’s here on UA-cam and it’s a shame.
Man Ryu needs buffs instead of nerfs his hashogeki is trash pretty reactable and he can't stock Denjin and loses oki, he doesn't have corner carry or side switch, Ken on the other side is pretty OP, imagine paladin playing with Ken.
It’s always a shame but Ryu just does not have the tools..

Ryu is already good. he is one of the most skilled among the Street fighters . Guile compared to him doesn't have as much as skills and super techniques than him . stop dreaming .

Both players are incredible, but man you can really feel Ryu's need for buffs here. He has take so many risks and spend so much meter to get anything done
It's true; Ryu has to put in some serious effort here. The thrill of the fight and the comeback potential! It's a testament to the player's skill to make it work!
literally what I was just thinking about. Ryu's bad in the sense that everyone else with the same tools as him out performs him hard. Paladin is no slouch, but he had nothing working in his favor so he got shafted in a lot of interactions.

Why does guile say “ perfect “ when I do a sonic boom ?!
Guile has Perfect inputs for Sonic Boom and I believe Flash Kick. If you press the forward or up button at the same time as a punch or kick you'll get a perfect version of the move.

There are the timing if you execute it perfectly, I believe.
If you press punch within 3f after forward he will do a perfect Boom.
when 90% of your attack combos are: sonic boom x4, flash kick, sonic boom 3-5x again, flash kick, rinse and repeat. /yawn
Sick guile
BEST RYU AND GUILE FIGHT I HAVE SEEN ON THIS GAME THUS FAR! Gosh damn, Guile pissed me off because he is clearly OP but this fight was SERIOUS. Kudos to both players, especially Ryu as it's clear he had to work MUCH harder considering Ryu was not designed to truly operate as Ken's opposite (Ken is the best offensive but Ryu doesn't have the moves to operate as the best in defence defensive).
If Capcom really want to improve Ryu on the defensive then the dev team should 1000% look at AKira from Virtua Fighter 5R and 4 Evolution. Akira is the king of Counter Attacks and Opening up an opponent's defense. That's what Ryu needs considering Ken is best at offensive play with some serious mix-ups which is great for free flowing. If Ryu was the Akira of Street Fighter then he would become more than tournament worthy. Unfortunately, from a tournament point of view, picking Akira is kinda pointless for you'll have more advantages using Ken instead.

Actually they need to rebalance the game because Guile isn't supposed to out zone Ryu Guile is literally top 5 and it doesn't make sense

Balancing adjustments are necessary to keep the game competitive and enjoyable for every character. It's always interesting to see how the game evolves with each update in the future.
Did it? It just looked like a Ryu failing to do any adapting. How often can someone get flash kicked doing the same move before you rethink your strategy.
