I have a question. Would double fermented Kefir not help, instead of hinder the endothelial lining?

sounds like the mediterranean diet is out of the question..but it begs the question why those folks live so long. It also sounds like vegetarian diet is key to health. There is a lot of debate on this across the medical spectrum

" It also sounds like vegetarian diet is key to health."
      complete nonsense.
eating plants and plant substances like sugar will give you heart attack in the first place.

Dr. E is just one doctor and some of his reasoning is a little off. He claims that the consumption of oil (even olive oil) results in an immediate but temporary disruption of arterial flow. Well, so does exercise. Does that mean we shouldn't exercise? Plant based neurologists, Doctors Sherzai and plant based cardiologist, Dr. Kahn, concur that, according to extensive research, olive oil appears to support brain heath and is cardio protective.

He never addresses issuses for those on warfarin and cannot eat green leafies due to their high vitamin k content. If one ignores that then the doc must increase your drug amount. Who wants to take more more more drugs?????

    • @sectionalsofa
      @sectionalsofa 8 місяців тому +2

Somehow I thought it was the reverse: the more greens consumed the less Warfarin would be required.

Stay well clear of processed food, the refined goods, keep your carbohydrate intake to an absolute minimum, stay clear of sugar, natural and refined, throw out you vegetable and seed oils and eat plenty of meat and natural fat, that's right, eat plenty of it but do not mix it with sugar and carbs, ie, sauces and fries and bread and potatoes and pasta etc.
It's not easy. You will fail plenty of times, but the more you try, the quicker the results.
      To be clear.
      AVOID...
      Sugar
      Carbohydrates
      Refined food
      Processed food
      Canned food
Table salt (only use mineral salt, sea salt, celtic salt)
Man made oils (veg and seed)
Do your best to cut all of that out of your daily diet.
      Walk everywhere if you can.
      Think positive thoughts about everything.
      Think positive about yourself.
It's hard work, but the day may come when you can throw your pills away and never look back.

Ask your doctor if you can switch to apixaban. No worrying about leafy greens when taking that.

Anyone with AFIB MUST be on blood thinners no matter what diet they're on. I know two people who went off of them and the results were devastating. However, as suggested, switching to one of the newer drugs that allows you to eat leafy greens, on the other hand, is a good idea.

He also never confirms if olive oil is good or bad for the heart. Only says absolutely no oil

Oil no matter what kind is fat. Olive oil is not good the person who wrote the paper on it removed it from Pub Med NIH.gov

I take it back he does list it in the no oils allowed list. But I’m just confused because many other drs say olive oil is good for the heart.
