Having seen Blossom Dearie perform (yeah, I'm that old), I was drawn to this song. It is a beautiful song. While there's no real connection or reference to Blossom Dearie(apart from her name mentioned twice), Ravyn's almost girlish style in parts is reminiscent of Dearie's style.

Recently discovered the 20th century jazz pianist/singer Blossom Dearie, so found this and it's great companion music. If there was an update 60-70 years later, I'm sure Blossom would be proud. I hear certain qualities in Ravyn's voice similar to Blossom's.
