    About ON1
For a decade and a half, we've provided award-winning software to millions of photographers worldwide. We accomplish this by being different than other photo software companies. We put you the photographer first, and this means our customers have complete control over every aspect of their photography.
Today, most mainstream software solutions take away control of your photography by locking away the organization and editing of your photos into closed systems. These solutions sort of hold your photos hostage by only allowing access to the tools and features you need as long as you pay up and stay within their system. You should have control of what’s yours, and what matters to you with your photography.
    Our Mission
To deliver the tools you need to organize, edit, and share your photos and to provide professional quality image processing, the creativity you desire, the service you deserve, and to keep you in control of your photography.

I like this approach to restoring vintage photos - it is not going overboard, but just more "helping" breathe new life into the image - very cool

This was great, and I would love to see more of these, especially old pictures that need some "repairs"if possible or even adding back colors.

Great video, as usual. When using a border in theses sort of pictures, I like to use colour the border using the faded white to colour the border with.

Magic eraser works great but the clone stamp not so much?

This was very useful as I have been working with a lot of old family photos. I would like to see some tips on dealing with creases in scanned negs and tears in scanned photos. I try the retouch tools but any expert techniques to that would be appreciated.

I think we are definitely going to create a next steps sort of video for this topic. :)

I've got a great many film negatives and transparencies. For a time I was getting unaccountable colour casts, green or magenta. One is really interesting in that it has both green and magenta casts. green on the left side, magenta on the right. Any suggestions on dealing with it? Just to maintain the interest level, I don't currently have access to it to rescan it. 😄

You could make the photo B/W and then apply a vintage hue/temp to the photo.

You need a better Healing brush. Even before Adobe Photoshop was using the current rage of AI it still had faster, easier and more successful healing with it's tool.

Unfortunately, I agree. I’ve corrected hundreds of damaged/faded/almost ruined scanned images with PS CS6. While the retouching tools of ON1 are very good for editing most of todays digital images for tone, color, etc., PS really does a lot more heavy lifting. For example, something as simple as Content Aware Fill has been around for years now. In fact I recently did a family album of older scanned images that needed repair/enhancement, and I still needed to use PS CS6 for some of the more difficult editing and repair. Don’t get me wrong, for 90-95%, ON1 works extremely well. ON1 is still my go to RAW editor.

It is about time that ON1 incorporate a better AI algorithm and also to have the features to colorized the final pic. This will be awesome.
