I had this exact car when I was a teenager. Loved cruising in this Beautiful ride.
I owe my life to my 85 Rivera almost got in a major accident due to a blizzard but it got me too safety so surefooted it's a beast.
I had the 83 same color, always ran smooth.. like stepping through time seeing this car in cherry condition 👍
Such a beautiful car... magnificent and timeless styling for the Riviera, Eldorado, and Toronado... even though they all shared the Oldsmobile engine, my fav for perfect style inside and out was the Riviera!!
The Eldorado did not offer the Oldsmobile 307 V8. Cadillac used that engine in the late-1980s Fleetwood sedans. In 1979 and 1980, the Eldorado was available with the Olds 350 V8.
I miss the 1982 Riviera that I once had. It was almost exactly like this one, just a different color, front grille and radio. If I had the cash, I'd buy this car right now.

My grandparents had a silver-green Riviera, same year, from Thomas Abernathy Buick in Jefferson (not far away from Painesville). Lots of good memories. The '84 307 4-bbl. had 5A heads and was quicker than the '85 as a result. It was almost as expensive as a C4 Vette!
It's a beautiful car, I had a 83 brand new, the only way it went fast is if u pushed it off a mountain, but a great cruiser, floated down the road in complete silence
My dad had a metallic grey one with the light grey top I use to drive it when I was in h.s it was a real nice smove running car
I had a '83 Riviera, fully equipped Astroroof, the only option I chose not to buy was cruise control, I got the speed buzzer instead. I had the dealer install the T-Type rims and the steering wheel. The mini V8,4spd auto & VOGUES. Not fast, but an AWESOME long hauler. Went up and down east coast. Just needed Mo power.

Please,please.....do not buy this car and put 22" rims on it!!!!! Keep it stock and clean so when my son gets older this car will still be around to be shown!!!
