great video, thanks man. my 2010 diesel fiesta had the temperature warning light come on the other day, going up a long hill stretch of the M20 towards London. I was doing about 75mph, aircon on and the limiter kicked in, wouldn't let me go over 60 mph. Slowed down and after 5 mins the light went off. Was a hot day as well 25 degrees outside. I could hear the fan going but maybe I should investigate further. When driving is their anyway to reduce the amount of heat in the engine, like put the heater on full blast like you could with older cars?
Probably fan not working. When you go fast it gets cooled by the air hitting the radiator, but when you drive slowly then the fan should cool the radiator.
Exact same thing happened to my 14 plate 1.25 fiesta. I was parked up and just noticed the temp gauge was on the hottest setting and the temp warning light was on. Not sure how long It was like that for before I turned the engine off. The AA came out and said the fans not working working. Is there a chance I’ve damaged the engine / head gasket from the hot temperature ? The coolant wasn’t overflowing but it was at the max line when I opened the bonnet after turning the car off…
@@combatmedia417the fan stopped working. So had to get a replacement fan. Still have the car and doesn’t seem to have caused any damage from the overheating :)
Yo I have a 2012 Ford fiesta and it doesn’t have any air conditioning and every time we put it on the check engine light will come on or the wrench light would come on a tip or two that you can help me with
Hello - if my fan only works with the AC but does not kick in otherwise ( I ran it up to 107c and it never came on ) that I can rule out the fan right ? You think its the relay ?
Had the AA come out to my 14 plate fiesta with a 1.6 diesel engine. Car smelling likevits overheating everything gauge had 4 bars and coolant in the tank. Oil and some smoke coming out of the dipstick and coolant bubbling
Very insightful. Thank you, sir.

Yes, that will extract heat from the engine and deposit it in the cabin
Hi.. My ford fiesta 2013, if AC ON and going slow cause overheating.
If i go fast with AC ON , no heating problem.
What could be issue?
Probably fan not working. When you go fast it gets cooled by the air hitting the radiator, but when you drive slowly then the fan should cool the radiator.

Hi it would be fuse and relay.
Hi, my car coolant keeps running out. What is the problem?
Check recalls, they had recalls on some of the 1.0 ecoboosts for cooling system problems
Why are there two sets of cables?

Hello there, What did AA diagnose?
Sounds like cylinder head gasket.
Yo how many mins did it take
An hour
hi my fan runs either 0% or 100%, even if the car is cold and i turn my aircon on, the fan runs at 100%
how much it cost to repair
parts £60.00
What could stop my dash showing engine temp?
Possibly wiring disconnect best way forward is to scan for fault codes
hey bro my coolant temperature is very high up to 98°c ON AC how do i fix that so it's not too high??
Hello is your car overheating? And is the cooling fan ON when it has reached the temperature?
@@MustangMotors Yes, the fan starts at 105°C and stops at 97°C if I don't use the AC. and if I turn on the ac, it should work at 86-90°c...
@@MustangMotors my question is how can i get the engine working temperature at 86-90°c when turning on the AC..
@@alfranibrahim141 hi think car is ok, have you scan your car if there is any fault code.
@@MustangMotors oke thx u dude for suport im from indonesia hheee 😁
