As many of you know, we use a purely empirical approach to measure the performance characteristics of each plate carrier we review to remove any and all personal bias from our evaluations. You guys talked me out of the k19 primarily due to its inability to dissapate heat. I live in the desert so this is a big concern, some more poking around has brought me to this plate carrier. It has a lot of the similar features that drew me to the k19, but dissipates heat much better and its made in the US. Thanks.
Iam in the same boat i wanted a kzero for awhile but i hate the cummerbund so with the warfighter cummerbund and first spear tubes im looking at 400 where i can get the mepc shoulder pads and the new hybrid structural cummerbund with a coupon for 322 just wondering how comfy is the mepc
Lowkey any plate carrier without the ability to run hook and loop cummerbunds out of the box are dog water. I honestly don't know how companies that aren't airsoft based haven't just built a hybrid loop interface with holes for shock cord like V-XV's adapters baked into the product out of the box. It's butt cancer.
@@yoloactual6975 yeah I think agilite is trash mybe if they were like 320 bucks with the war fighter cummerbund it would be worth it but that cummerbund that comes on them are just hot garbage
@@TheJoeml85I personally really like Ferro Concepts products in their ADAPT line, so I run them on my Spiritus LV119, but I don't necessarily like the feature set of their FCPC carrier. So I appreciate the ability to utilize their cummerbunds and various assortment of accessories out of the box on carriers I purchase. If it ain't better than my spiritus, it don't matter essentially.
@@TheJoeml85Honestly I'm not impressed with the comfort. Maybe I got the wrong size or something but I'm definitely looking for a solution to add some pontoons, I think that would help a lot.
I have one of these plate carriers on the way. Cannot wait!
I’m out here at JRTC and saw one out in the wild. Nice carrier.
Yes I have purchased one. I'm a smaller (8x10 plate) guy and the fact not lots of companies offer the 8x10 exclusively and this is handmade in the US are main drivers for a reasonable price. This is my first, so didn't want to break the bank either. I may add ice vents to it or hydration for training purposes.
Nice MEPC Mechanism ❤
the edit at the beginning was a banger
Why is the model's face blurred? I just can't lol
I got one a while back and I so far love it!
Is it comfortable?
Just wish the mepc had a qd shoulder option
Its like the only thing its missing
So I guess the spacer mesh can work well for thermals but wore told us it doesn’t but you can see this carrier is middle of the pack in that regard.
Here is a link to our INSIGHTS articles with the empirical performance testing data on spacer mesh:

Currently looking for a plate carrier that will play well under a ruck sack. I don't want to go with the JPC because of the the "JPC sag" that they can get over extended periods of use and I'm afraid that using under a loaded pack will expedite that process. Love the vids keep up the good work!
I’d like to recommend Tracer Tactical’s Stout Scout Chest Rig with Plate Bags for rucking.
We designed ICEPLATE EXO to be two in one from the start, both Plate Carrier + Chest Rig with the simple addition of one adapter kit:

you would get more views if you stopped using the crazy font on the video title as it hurts to look at and hard to read
