I disagree. His performance is a taffy pull. He distorts the meter & even changes some of the chords as written. I suggest that you listen to Gershwin's own performance of this great piece.
The first time I heard this was on Spotify and I loved it, I had not noticed its composer. Then UA-cam suggested Rhapsody in Blue and that's when I realized that I fell in love with Gershwin without knowing it was Gershwin
The first time I heard it I was watching that great documentary about F. Scott Fitzgerald & I was just mesmerized… perhaps five years ago… it’s gorgeous…

It's Gershwin's own arrangement, published in his Songbook. You should be able to find it pretty easily at a sheet music shop or on line. I hope thos helps.
