This game kinda makes you feel like you're in the same world as the Pokemon. You gotta be mindful of them since they can actually attack you, the trainer. More of this and maybe we can then see stuff in the Pokedex become a reality.
I wondered about wide range moves having a chance to hit BOTH pokemon and trainer. Like, look at Battle Revolutions' animations for Surf and Blizzard. You CANNOT tell me those moves might hit the trainer leading the pokemon.
I believe it was an Octillery that sniped you out of nowhere. I always engage with Alphas to see all the different ways they attack you and I can say that Octillery was the most OP so far
Got 63 hours clocked into this game, and this is the first time seeing the trade animation. Shit just about killed me like that one Golduck that came out of bumfuck nowhere after I got done drowning.
Whenever Pokémon makes an original game that strays from the formula (rangers, dungeon, snap, coliseum, xd, legends) we get setting good. And everytime they announce they are straying, fans rip them apart and ask for remakes only to hate the remakes made.
The only people that would complain about the other spinoffs you mentioned would be dumb kids who don't know they were made by different developers and thus doesn't affect the main games at all. Legends Arceus is the first time Gamefreak themselves strayed from the formula.
@@yungmuney5903 Tbh Legends Arceus was just as half assed as SPBD. I did slightly enjoy the 20 odd hours I put in, but this game is pretty much a Ni No Kuni rip and unimaginative. Buuuut I am really glad to see other people enjoying Pokemon again so Game Freak must have done something right.

someone out there should make a mod where the visibility is lowered (like fog), it is always night and every wild pokemon get the red eyes treatment (or just make all of them alpha) now that would be fun to watch basically, silent hill for pokemon

Y'know, if this "legends" subseries is a sort of way for Game Freak to revisit ideas they never got around to doing during that generation (in this case the Azure Flute event) I wouldn't be surprised if Kalos is next. Between Eternal Floette and Perfect Zygarde, they've got a lot to work with.
I feel like they're hinting that Gen 5 is next for Legends. What with Ingo showing up, hinting that something similar happened in Unova. Maybe this is just me wanting to see the Original Dragon before it split itself.
I really hope if gamefreak makes this a traditional pokémon game they should take what worked for this game, expand the pokémon, the pokedex, everything and make the greatest pokémon game of all time having the “remakes” now revisits to old pokémon regions in this format.
