I like seeing Drytron decks that don't play the disco ball, or the turn skips, or vanities. The Drytron support locking into machine rituals is good design.
Locking into machines is pretty bad. There’s only 5 machine rituals in the game and 3 of them belong to Drytrons. The other small Drytrons already lock your special summons so you cannot special anything that could be normal summoned. So I don’t know why they need to machine lock too. All the best meta decks have no restrictions on them or the restrictions apply really late into the combo that it doesn’t matter but Konami goes and double restricts Drytrons for what? DAD being destroyed and summoning another 4000 ATK ritual from deck but the big Drytrons with 4K don’t really do anything if summoned that way so it’s a subpar floating effect. My guess is there’s more Drytron cards to be released in the future to make these cards make more sense. Konami seems to be taking their sweet time releasing these new support though.
As someone that plays drytron casually, ehhhhh. My favorite part of drytron was being able to just throw in (almost) any ritual monster that I like into the deck so with the new support locking them into machine rituals it just feels.... ehhhh. Love using Nekroz of Trishula and pendulumgraph dragon in drytron or just looking at the avevable ritual monsters and seeing what works.
All i got from these replies was "waaaah why drytron cant play no more omni or floodgate virgin chomo crap with benten...." man good riddance to this shit archetype. Novox was stronger.
@@PsychoKern Rank 1 Fucho is how almost every Drytron player board wipes with Zeus or survive another turn if they get Drolled/Shifter. It’s also good for Feather Storming opp with Thrust search. Borrelsword is best with Natasha and I’ve heard people say it’s pretty mid without Natasha.
Whats the combo with dyna mondo ? i keep trying to make it worthwhile but the ffact that you can only summon ritual monsters that have been properly summoned makes it so hard to use with the new drytron cards
@@IridescentKySoul Agreed that there are not many good ritual targets for Dyna Mondo. They're either very good or subpar. A lot of rituals activate only when they are ritual summoned instead of special summoned. Magician of Black Chaos MAX was the best Drytron target for a while. If you have I:P, after DAD used up both negates, link it off for Dyna Mondo to spin a card and get DAD back onto the field for another 2 negates. So you get up to 4 monster negates in a turn with DAD.
Hey Lithium, would you mind if in your future videos, instead of randomly scrolling through the cards in the decklist, you would just scroll them one by one as you speak, thank you.
Fucho is uneffected by whatever ip can go into but the second you go for downerd, they use IP and banish the downerd so no zeus whatsoever. If you go for Zeus instantly you clear the entire board if the set is not an imperm

I think they kinda wanted an endboard piece of monster negation that wasn't live on turn 1 so decks swarm decks can have strong generic endboards while still being vulnerable to nib, also the fact it requires a brick is a small but noteworthy downside
@@jimtsap04 Yeah seems specially bad for decks that low tiered, Nib kind tanks some of them especially now, the better the follow up, and playing through Nib a max requirement.
