I have a lot of Mauritian work colleagues in London. More of them are carers. They're very friendly. Their skin colour is like the Indians. The women are very hard working 💪. They cook for their husbands every blessed day. No leftovers. Fresh dishes every day 😋 😌 👌 😍

I understand why people would like to make currency conversion to compare wages.. But are they taking into consideration the cost of living in the country in which they are? You can be in USA and earn 2500 dollars.. Your rent is 1000 dollars.. Transport.. food.. Phone bills etc then see what is left.. You may get some to save so what you should rather say is what you have left to save after expenses... And not what you earn to convert into ghana cedis..
Impossible , no one will rent 1000 dollars apartment when he’s receiving 2500$ ! wtf is your economics?
No one in USA earn below 5000$ a month unless is hourly work .
Furthermore , 1000 dollars is apartment and houses in some areas in USA .
They don’t leave like animals like the way you leave in Ghana.
Who told you nobody is earning below $5000 so does it mean everybody is earning $5000 in USA then you are not telling the truth

The mean annual income in America is around $30,000 per year. There are many Ghanaians in the US army who barely earn $30k per year.

I use to work at an Electrostatic Spray Painting Company at Port Louis ( Award LTD) even though I’m ok with my salary but it ain’t easy if you have a family in Ghana depending on you…
