And weirdly enough the one time we won was when Tua was (arguably) concussed in the 2nd half and he had a really nice deep ball in that 2nd half to Waddle to help us win that game. But obviously all of Buffalo will throw the excuse of the sun and cry about that whenever that game gets brought up.

There is no trick to Allen. He’s just stronger, faster, and better. Allen’s offense isn’t based on scheming guys open. He just finds a way. When 1/2 if what he does is off-script, there is no script to steal.

Tua is right the bills don’t need mike white to know that all they’re going to do is screen pass, reverse passes, occasional bomb to hill and the occasional run play.

Comments like these make me convinced you don’t actually watch football, literally all the Dolphins did last year was throw anywhere from 5 to 35 yard slants across the middle. So much so that this year the Jaguars sole defensive gameplan was to heavily cover and take away those slants that Tua would always go to. That’s what led to the two deep passes to Waddle and Hill where both times Tua pumped to the 1st read, (which was one of these slants) pulled the linebacker or safety down, and threw it to the 2nd read guy who was running deep down the field. Not to mention that all those screens your complaining about is largely due to the offensive line not being able to hold up, the sack that pushed us out of field goal range early in the game was a sack that the Jags managed to get with only 3 dam guys rushing the passer. Also the only two times we were actually able to give Tua time to throw just so happened to be the two times he threw deep to Waddle and Hill. I mean there’s so much nuance to this stuff it’s ignorant to try to make it sound so simple like you did in your comment.
@@user-rr7bu9fe3k I would agree with all this except the OL part. They could hold up in pass pro. McDaniel probably called those screens because it's Week 1 and you don't wanna blow your load when Buffalo is coming to town plus Jags were playing so much man coverage and bracketing Waddle and Hill, that no else was getting open. Chosen, Jonnu, Berrios, Smythe couldn't win 1 on 1s so getting Achane in space with blockers was McDaniel's counter
I think the difference Tua is highlighting is the difference between the offenses and defenses. The offense is attempting to disguise everything and the defense is reactive to that. Since the offense is in control of the flow, they can use the defense's rules against them. The offense has concepts and route options that can beat those rules ahead of time.
A defense can decide to switch coverages or go man to counter that, but then you're giving them what they want.
The Phins need to win this game against the Bill's. Like this would be a great statement win in the AFC East. I feel this Phins team can do it, but let's not fall behind the Bill's and have to play catch up in scoring. I don't believe that will happen, as I feel the offense for the Phins got that out of there system in week 1. I truly hope the Phins come out in primetime and put there foot down on the Bill's throat and don't let up. Time to set the tone.
