Im a single mom of four kids. Our life is the complete opposite of your videos and I love it! Ive been watching your videos for inpiration because I love your vibe, quirky sense of humor, and your plant babies. I am hoping to begin the extreme declutter and downsize process soon to a more essentialism vibe. Thank you for the obvious thought, time and care you put into your videos. I very much enjoy and appreciate you and your channel. 😊
I love the shots from 1:13 and how they fit into the topic perfectly. I feel like we can learn a lot from cats regarding boundaries; they don't do anything to please others and I think it is a big factor in why I adore them so much!
The first point of not making other people's problems your problem and setting clear boundaries is a good reminder! Learning to say No is something I am still working on. Thank you for this video!
I’ve been trying to incorporate some of these ideas into my own life and i feel like things are getting better. Really glad to see you putting out videos so regularly and seeing your channel grow.
Multi-tasking isn't what it once was once. It takes not only your tasks at hand buy most importantly your mind out of focus. I'm working on this with any work/home project and complete as 'priority NOT priorities'. As always Nicholas you yourself are awesome and continually enjoy your channel very informative and a great aide.Namaste!
This was yet another great video Nicholas. I used to have the problem with saying yes too much, ended up being a pushover for a while. Glad I came to my senses and started saying no. A cooking video from you would be great buddy! I have that where I feel guilty if I’m not doing something. Great video again my dude! Obvs you knew I was going to show up at some point! 🎉
Great video, Essentialism is one of my favourite books, I have it on audible and listen to it more than my other books. I’m definitely getting better at saying “no” !!
Thank you for a wonderful perspective on essentialism, it's definitely piqued my curiosity in the book now. I resonated a lot with 'limit priorities' as it is currently something I'm working on.
I swear, I watch your videos for the content, but I also always can't wait to see what you're going to say in your intro. 😂 Thanks by always starting in giving us a good laugh.
Thanks for the tips. New to your channel and am intrigued by the digital “coaster?” you have your coffee carafe on. Is it a heated pad? Where might I find one?
Hey Nicholas, love the videos. I've seen your clothes drying rack in a few videos, but can't seem to find it under any of your gear links. For reference it's shown at the 4:59 point of the video. Let me know if you can share where you found it. Thanks!
Thank you for the vid ! It’s helpful. I have a question, with my job I work for different clients, so at times I’ll work on something for a few min and then I have to stop because I need to hear back from them, so I work on a different clients tasks . This makes my brain spin because I wish I could just get a project and work through it . Any advice ?
Not knowing how to say no can be the besetting sin of fear of man. The apostle Paul writes in Philippians, look, not only for your own interests, but also the interest of others. This is an outward. Orientation. It’s not that you don’t look out for your own interests, but leave room to look out for the interest of others as well. This is what magnanimity and generosity look like.
Wonderful video! I agree 100% about saying no and setting boundaries. I wish I'd figured it out a long time ago! On another note, your cat looks just like my cat. Is he/she a Russian blue cat by any chance? Ours came from the SPCA, but neither my daughter nor I are allergic to him, and I am told Russian blue (breed name?) cats are non-allergic.
Hello. I"ve watched your videos about not keeping a lot of stuff on your phone and I've noticed that you are able to take the green on the sliders when you turn them to the on position and turn them yellow. How do you do that?
I stg i think your content confuses me for two reasons. 1) what you say makes sense but 2) i think sometimes youre trolling lol.. the video portion. Blink three times if youre safe. And ill watch cuz I enjoy your vids lol
Can you do a video on your a day in the life and routine?
Would love that
yes same
Love to see it
Oh wow. Yes plsss ❤
That would be amazing.

Thanks Elizabeth! I'm not completely sure what she is, but she's not a Russian Blue because I definitely felt the allergies kick in at first 😂
