Michael Cavanaugh was handpicked by Billy Joel to star in the hit Broadway musical Movin’ Out. He received both Tony and Grammy nominations in the lead role. Billboard has called him “The New Voice of the American Rock and Roll Songbook.” Michael has traveled around the world to perform with symphony orchestras, and has played at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the John F. Kennedy Center.
Wow that first vocal line was right on point sounded just like Billy Joel 😮
The best part of this is that it feels care free, very relaxed. That's what makes the original so great that I feel a lot of the covers of Billy Joel music miss, they always seem like they're trying way too hard to live up to Billy Joel instead of just letting the music flow out of them

You're bang on Dale. Watched a few covers and they were all so cringey. Really trying too hard. The reason the original is so great is its recorded like he was just jamming on a random, rainy Sunday afternoon!
