- We start off by going back to Bill Winke's farm for a complete look at the past 17 years. Winke dives into some of his favorite memories, builds on how he pieced together the farm, and closes the chapter on one of the greatest hunting stories of all time.
1:45 We take a look at some of the best hunts throughout the years from Winke's farm.
12:15 Several hunts on that farm weren't captured on camera, and Winke runs through some big buck photos of other deer that lived on the property.
14:00 Then, Winke talks about his favorite takeaways and most memorable moments from hunting here for 17 years.
18:00 He finishes by talking about how he pieced together this farm, and explains how there are plenty of tools to help purchase hunting land.
I love that video Bill! I love what you said at the end that it's about making memories. It's not so much about telling everybody about the giant you shoot. I think some of the outdoor industry has made people change and not for the better. I appreciate your success and yet you're humble. That's the kind of people I like to watch
My uncle who got me into hunting said "its all about the experience. " Creating memories!!
Sweet a lot of memories!
Watching the kids growing with the farm.
Greg seems to a good person.
Bill Winke is Midwest Whitetail!!!! We miss you Buddy!!!!
Watching this video and hearing Bill talk about all the work, effort and the drive or desire involved made me feel tired in a way. If I could add anything it would be pursue your dreams and desires while you’re young and have the drive and energy. At almost 70 years old, I have lived a full life and saw some dreams fulfilled and experienced a lot of heartbreak. I am happy for Bill as he has taken his God given abilities to pursue his dreams. I am even more impressed that he has not lost touch with what’s really important in life. Health, family, memories and God’s grace. Best of Luck Bill!
Great episode, Bill. Miss seeing you in the weekly updates. You and your team have turned Midwest Whitetail into the best show on TV/Internet, IMO. Keep up the great work and good luck in the future!
There's noone that has sacrificed and contributed more to our Hunting Community then Mr. Bill Winke.Sincerely Thank you Bill and Family!
That old intro, though! Nostalgia!!! The best
Bill, great advice - “ you don’t want to sell yourself short of your ability to do something bigger than what others think you can do”. I have truly enjoyed watching you over the years develop the property, help the interns and indeed the many great hunts! God bless
Bill is one of the best down to earth guy in outdoor industry. Sure do miss him on the show. Hopefully next season 🙏.
I wish I could just sit down and talk with Bill he's such a down home guy. Hope your next chapter is awesome Bill much love 🙏
Been one of your fans since way before youtube and Midwest Whitetail. Used to read all your articles in North America Whitetail and other magazines back in the day. It is great to see how well you're doing with all this. I enjoy the videos, and love that I can watch them with my kids, and not have to worry about cussing or unethical shots. Appreciate your perspective on family, traditions, and hunting. Take care and thanks for what you do. God bless.
Great job putting this episode together to all involved. I really enjoyed it, I hope Bill is doing well.
Bill Winke is to deer hunting what Steve Erwin was to Australian conservation! A TRUE love for the animal!!
Hell of a man hard work says it all bill may God bless you and yours bring a tear to my eye over the children
This is why I watch these videos, true sportsmen
Well Bill Winke, that was a hell of a ride with the family on that farm land and all these memories on film. The Midwest good father, félicitation pour votre oeuvre complète à date.
I wondered why this year Bill hunt haven’t been seeing?
I missed him a lot he is greats guy
God blessed Bill
I don’t think I could have ever sold that farm, that is a hunter and his whole family’s paradise.
Money talks!
Yeah the fact that he sold the farm when he wasn’t really considering it yet and still living there, tells me he was offered well above the average price per acre.
He will probably buy another farm and build it into something great too. Still...hard to do!
@@robydean7 he’s got all the knowledge to do so now. I’d like to meet and take notes on everything he has to say about white tail management
He made a video about it a while back. I think it was an exceptional price, the right stage in his life, and he had his eye on a couple places. Didn’t work out exactly as he thought if I remember correctly but i can bet he will be just fine. Good like and looking forward the a new farm getting up and running 👍🏻
My wife and I own the property I grew up on in Pa. Our family has owned this property for 56 years. I'm not sure I could ever sell it. My wife and I just closed on 41acres in Oh. Owning hunting land in Oh and Pa has always been a dream for us.
Good luck on your next venture Bill. I have been a fan of MW from the beginning. I have one of your original Winke Suits from back in the day.
Bill good job man.
I hope my hunting path with my kids goes the same way. Putting your kids on awesome bucks great work amazing video
Badass video guys
Going through similar losing my property I’ve had leased for 20 years and my dad was on well before just got sold to build a subdivision heartbreaking but many memories with my dad and my kids there
Man I miss Bills content this year. Somebody’s got an assume farm now though. I’m sure that wasn’t cheap!

How long you been using that buck 113?
Midwest Whitetail just isnt the same without Bill.....Still a good show but its definitely missing his presence
Why did you sell and to who? Now what will you do? Greg from THP has been able to hunt your land. Interesting.
The whole thp crew all started right here at mww as interns
